I reverted these edits [1] [2] because they appear to be non-sensical or perhaps corrupted by some sort of automated tool. Please be careful when editing Wikipedia articles in the future.

Hi, I've removed some of the content from the Mark Smith (gladiator) page, as it copied from http://www.rhino.me.uk/gladiators.htm. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. Hi. I have unlinked the external links on your user page. We're pretty free and easy about user pages, but Wikipedia is not a link farm and now it's bigger than bit it is being abused for SEO spamming and other nefarious purposes, so the links policy is getting tighter. Could an administrator please unblock my IP address, I was directly blocked and then Yamla unblocked me, however, now the administrator who originally blocked me has autoblocked me even though I have made no edits whatsoever during the short period of time when I was unblocked. Thankyou, AndTheCrowdGoesWild 22:42, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done, sorry for not catching this earlier. Autoblocks are automatic, the original blocking admin had nothing extra against you, I just forgot to check for autoblocks. Have a happy day. --Yamla 23:01, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, AndTheCrowdGoesWild. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Glasgow2014.jpg) was found at the following location: User:AndTheCrowdGoesWild/Userboxes/Glasgow 2014. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 05:39, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Aston Villa Logo.gif, by Strangerer (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Aston Villa Logo.gif is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Aston Villa Logo.gif, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 12:43, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:The New Paul O'Grady Show.PNG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:The New Paul O'Grady Show.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:36, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:ToyWatch logo.PNG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ToyWatch logo.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:31, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WrestleMania XXIV

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. TJ Spyke 23:49, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How can something be announced on the March 18th edition of SD when today is only March 7th?. TJ Spyke 00:29, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, your source only says that she will be at WrestleMania. TJ Spyke 00:40, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Take a look at WP:V. Unsourced info does not belong in articles. We are even more strict with wrestling articles since some people seem to have something against wrestling and try to undermine us (like one editor who went around blanking bio articles and had an admin wrapped around his finger and supporting him). I'm not convinced it's all that notable either. She's not really gonna host the PPV, she might just appear onscreen (like every other celeb at WM). TJ Spyke 00:54, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Celtic F.C. Seasons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 21:30, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article Rim Jim has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unable to find any sources confirming existence.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. –dlthewave 22:09, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
