Hey. Sorry for my late answer, I've been having major problems getting back into Wikipedia. The answer to your question is that both bands like Throwdown and Hatebreed as well as bands like As I Lay Dying and Unearth (no matter how much those two bands would like to consider themselves "thrash" these days) are metalcore bands. It has a lot to do with where you started out. If you start out playing for hardcore kids and you put breakdowns in your music, then yeah, you're probably a metalcore band.
