Welcome!

[edit]

Hello again, Anabel Marsh! Thank you so much for taking part in our recent Wikimedia training. I hope that you enjoyed the session, and that we'll see you on Wiki again soon.

Now that you've learned the basics, I hope that you'll stay logged in and edit or create more articles. If you're not feeling bold enough to write an article straight away, why not try a small edit first, or adding a link? Don't worry about being perfect, Wiki is a constantly evolving entity. Fortunately there's a whole team of editors just like you who can help.

Welcome! Now have some cake...

You can't break Wikipedia, but in case you're still nervous here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Remember, if you are writing on a talk page, please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon!

Something I thought might interest you...

Wikipedia & knowledge activism workshop

[edit]

Hello again Anabel Marsh! It was great to meet you again last week, and I hope that you enjoyed the session.

I'd normally drop by a talk page post-event and share some links for new users - as you're not a brand-new editor I probably don't need to do that, but if I can help at all please don't hesitate to ask :)

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. See you soon! Lirazelf (talk) 12:18, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I’ve been a bit of a dabbler and never really followed up on workshops before, so maybe this time I will do better. Anabel Marsh (talk) 15:59, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
