Good work with your reference-finding on this article - is kinda rare to return to an article after a month to find that the issue you noticed has since been entirely resolved! So cheers, Nikthestoned 11:13, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Your first-section praise, in a tough world, keeps me on a positive track. I do not delete other Wiki requests for citations, because up-to-date sources always seem needed. Knowing I can contribute by finding and adding references, no matter what, is a BIG deal. Thanks forever. AnEyeSpy (talk) 02:34, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Section headers
[edit]Please use "sentence caps" i.e. "Plot details" instead of "title caps" "Plot Details" per Manual of Style Section caps Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 01:06, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Response to personal reply
[edit]- The message above was rather terse, and I apologize for that. This is the problem with editing sometimes, you get so caught up, you forget to be polite. I appreciated your response, and the fact that you actually read the link I provided above. My suggestion to you is to get involved in WikiProject Film, and follow the discussions on the talk page. There, you will find a lot of other editors with a great deal of experience editing film articles. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. ---The Old JacobiteThe '45 02:41, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for the link to relevant point in gigantic Wiki. Your input improved my contributions from there-on. I bookmarked a word-counter and use often for 400-700 range. AnEyeSpy (talk) 02:33, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
chronicle edit
[edit]Please take more care in changing sentences. In this edit, you changed a well written sentence into a badly written one. [1] From: The Hollywood Reporter gave a brief one-line mention in its March 23, 2012 issue that a sequel was in development to The Hollywood Reporter gave one line to sequel possiblity 23 March 2012. (possiblity misspelled) Also this added sentence makes no sense: "But October reaction is negative" - thank you for the great source though. 108.56.240.203 (talk) 20:49, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]CNIB helped when lupus drug chloroquine damaged my eyes via chloroquine retinopathy, even after discontinuation. Recently added medication has side-effect of blurry vision. Fixes do not implement overall: large icons, large and serif fonts, black text on yellow background, high-contrast (and crash). I would be delighted if you send more urls linking to further vision enhancement suggestions. (Serif clarifies troublesome words, where I's, l's, t's, or i's are contiguous.)
As shut-in cripple, I am experienced with waning abilities curtailing and ceasing participation in activities. Your point contributes to the against column. I will keep track and stop before the total is more negative than positive.
Your compliment on finding references gave me a first directive. When necessary, finding and adding sources may continue to satisfy my curiosity and desire to be helpful. I am now learning more about inline and external references. When I connect to another Wiki entry, I credit the material therein, but others seem to - indiscriminately. Another puzzle to follow -- unless you know?
The old adage "Honey draws more bees than vinegar" is similar to an outdated sandwich feedback technique, praise around criticisms. Any followup is welcome - more vision enhancement ideas?
English is a growing language, adding vocabulary to dictionaries and expressions to everyday conversation continuously. War reporter Ernest Hemingway was lauded for the brevity and punch of his work http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Ernest_Hemingway#Writing_style . The advent of texting, twitter, and the sound bite has changed writing even more. More technology adds more jargon; international ubiquitous communication adds more slang. Not everything on the internet is true, but perhaps you will be as amused as I am by this added possibility from futbol sport? (I do not speak or read Swedish to verify - do you?) http://blog.foxsoccer.com/post/38962819100/to-zlatan-introducing-the-newest-verb-in-the-swedish?pk_campaign=facebook&pk_kwd=gesm When one expands their reading horizons, their definition of "well written" should correspondingly expand.
The second directive I acted on at once. As can be inferred from your acute observation, additions and revisions are less noticeable if their style mimics surrounding phrasing. Many volunteers contribute to Wiki in their own individual way. Small changes, by innocuous infitesimal inches rather than obtrusive chunks, are also easier to add and save before edit conflicts from other simultaneous users (a hard-won lesson).
Thank you for your suggestions, both incorporated immediately. As a neophyte Wiki contributor (after 40+ years as professional editor-writer), I always appreciate valuable input from others. Since I could not reply directly to an Anonymous post, the answer is here. Perhaps others know vision enhancement hints (besides months-away opthamologist appointment) or answers to my questions herein? AnEyeSpy (talk) 02:33, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]All fixed. Preview showed links correctily, so I was misled. I would never delete these warnings; how else could I know to fix them? You say I can delete this message, but I haven't figured that out yet. Maybe this can remind me to search for an answer when I have more time. AnEyeSpy (talk) 02:34, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Non-geographic numbers
[edit]Hopefully the article is now much improved from how it was a few months ago.
It will need further re-organisation and updating once Ofcom and BIS have made their various expected announcements over the next few months. - 212.139.105.69 (talk) 19:01, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

Die Hard movie series
[edit]Thanks for the clean up work in the Under Siege movie series and the characters John McClane and Casey Ryback. You could also do some clean-up in the Die Hard movie series if you like as well. BattleshipMan (talk) 22:31, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Whew. I love those movies and want to do right by them. I have to be sure of what I'm doing, watching for the second time on TV. Even though some always cut for ads, I can be more accurate with the movie playing. I can still clean up for readability and typos though. Reassuring when you approve, encourage. Thanks.AnEyeSpy (talk) 02:41, 22 April 2013 (UTC).

[edit]Thanks for closing the reference tag, whether my error or another's. Your User Page overflows with others' praises, so I should have immediately guessed that was the wrong place. Effusive abject apology personally sent to your polite kind accurate self, "Policy Guidelines" request properly and politely transferred to correct target (thank you for direction) - remover whose name hid below yours, deposit of useless renewed vow not to work blurry-eyed on Wiki after midnight (maybe Pacific time?) into junk file of other feeble forlorn New Year Resolutions. Disambiguation link notification for May 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Don Francks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
