Paid editing, conflict of interest
[edit] Hello Amitharksh. Your edits look as if you are being paid . Paid promotion is an especially egregious type of conflict of interest (COI)
Paid articles should be submitted through the articles for creation process. If you are receiving or expect to receive money for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post the disclosure on your user page at User:Amitharksh. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Amitharksh|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
.
If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being paid, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Jytdog (talk) 07:52, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
- Please take the above seriously. If you are an employee or contractor for the hospital, you must disclose this. If that is the case, there are ways to ethically try to get the article created. But one step at a time. Please do reply here. Jytdog (talk) 07:54, 21 August 2017 (UTC)
