The section title controversies is just meant to highlight the controversies that may have taken place during his tenure and is not supposed to be a place to list the reasons/justifications/excuses for actions.

There is a section immediately preceding called "Achievements". Any positive comments may be posted there.

Confused why you would delete additional information I am adding on Mr.Baijal. Do you have a personal vendetta against him? I am adding some facts during his tenure and some of the accolades he received, plus what some of the experts said at the time.

The additional "information" that you are adding is justification of the various controversies that shadow Mr.Baijal. Example in a sentence describing the sale of VSNL, you keep adding "transparent auction" without providing any references for the same. Similarly, you keep adding sentences justifying Mr.Baijals controversial recommendation of auction floor prices which have nothing to do with the controversy.

The controversy section is just that: it is supposed to highlight the controversies without providing reasons, excuses or justifications for the same.

There is a separate section titled "Accomplishments" where some of your statements can be accomodated.

In the interests of neutrality however, it is vital to keep the POV pushing out of the articles.

Kindly desist from the same.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Pradip Baijal, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. DVdm (talk) 10:59, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Transparent auction - the auction had 6 bidders, and eventually two parties bid. Having a reserve price is actually the right thing for the government, as it prevents a complete failure of the auction process - and makes sure no-one buys the company for Rs. 1 in absence of a reserve price. As for the process itself, the disinvestment ministry had set up as robust a process as possible - with sealed bids, etc.

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Pradip Baijal. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Do not refer to other editors as "a paid hack."The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 13:53, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The edits made did not provide any evidence on the transparent auction. In any case the controversy section merely lists the controversy and is not to be used for JUSTIFYING the individuals actions.

Further you still havent answered on many of the selective edits raised on the talk page which clearly point to vandalism.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Pradip Baijal. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. 220.101.28.25 (talk) 14:15, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
