Re: Begin

[edit]

Hey Amirig, it looks like I may have blown whatever progress you were making with Sangil regarding the Begin introduction with my decaffeined rant... No worries though, I have quite the passage from Churchill which I will transcribe later tonight... --(Mingus ah um 00:11, 25 May 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Menachem Begin

[edit]

For your info, I have requested semi-protection of Menachem Begin following the fifth edit in the past 12 hours to insert terrorism, terrorist etc. all over the place. You and I had each reverted this at least twice. I think this goes beyond POV and is vandalism, but we will see if the Protection Powers that Be agree with me. All of these editors would have been prevented from editing by semi-protection; two were anons and two are accounts just a few hours old. (And they are probably all the same person anyway.) 6SJ7 03:15, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greek to me

[edit]

Greetings. I just wrote the page Greek to me. I am comparing similar expressions in other languages. I was wondering if you would be able to add the expression in any languages with which you are comfortable. Btw, I just found your page/profile by running a search for users who have a level 4/level 5 ability in non-English languages. Thanks much! samwaltz 04:59, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict...please fill out my survey?

[edit]

Hello :) I am writing my MA dissertation on Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict, and I noticed that you have contributed to those pages. My dissertation will look at the process of collaborative knowledge production on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the effect it has on bias in the articles. This will involve understanding the profiles and motivations of editors, contention/controversy and dispute resolution in the talk pages, and bias in the final article.

For more information, you can check out my meta-wiki research page or my user page, where I will be posting my findings when I am done.

I would greatly appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to fill out this quick survey before 8 August 2021.

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous. There are no foreseeable risks nor benefits to you associated with this project.

Thanks so much,

Sarah Sanbar
