Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Awakening Records has been reverted.
Your edit here to Awakening Records was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.twitter.com/ahmednorthowed) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:53, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ahmed Mac

[edit]

Hello Ame123ojfish,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ahmed Mac for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Mike1901 (talk) 18:58, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ahmed mac requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Notability

[edit]

The best I can do is suggest that you read WP:BAND about notability for singers, and WP:RS about the reliable independent sources (references) you need to provide to prove the notability. Unlike Facebook, Wikipedia insists on notability for the subjects of articles. Peridon (talk) 12:11, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to Awakening Records with this edit, you may be blocked from editing.  A m i t  웃   15:18, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Awakening Records shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content as you did to Awakening Records, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Otherwise your post(s) may be reverted. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. werldwayd (talk) 21:48, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for long-term unhelpful editing, including edit-warring, and persistent attempts to use Wikipedia for promotion of a person who clearly does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:42, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ahmed Mac has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Saqib (talk) 16:04, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ahmed Mac. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection.
Please stop removing deletion templates from pages you have created yourself. I have now reported you at WP:AIV as I feel that you are only on Wikipedia for promotional reasons. Ahmed Mac is not currently WP:NOTABLE, and will not become so just because you keep republishing deleted pages. Mike1901 (talk) 19:01, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove CSD tags - as it says in the description, you must not remove the tag if you created the page... you have done this twice now - a third one could result in a block under the 3-revert rule. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mike1901 (talkcontribs) 20:25, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Ahmed Mac selfie.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Mike1901 (talk) 20:31, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mumza Industry, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.hellotrade.com/mumza-industries/profile.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses, such as you did in the article Mumza Industry. Wikipedia is not the Yellow pages. If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets. Thank you. I will also report you to Wikipedia:ANI for persistent self-promotion if you continue creating pages about a person or business you presumably have personal affiliation with, and whom in any case isn't WP:NOTABLE. You've been told enough times now about self-promotion policy on Wikipedia - don't do it. Mike1901 (talk) 16:08, 21 May 2015 (UTC) its not a promotion article you should consider it first please go through it and view its links and you will find it as a business group (2005-present) thanks[reply]
