Conservative party

[edit]

Please stop your edit warring. As per WP:BRD, it's now time to take this to the talk page and discuss it there. You've added huge swathes of unsourced material, and what few sources there are are either from Wikipedia (which you're not allowed to cite) or haven't been sourced properly. Please discuss this before further editing. — Richard BB 18:11, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I recognize my mistake in adding unsourced material. I am trying to add sources, and I will add some if you will allow me some time.

I think you should discuss your changes on the talk page before making any further additions. Please be mindful of the three revert rule. You can be blocked for edit warring, so it's best that you talk about your proposed changes first. — Richard BB 18:21, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I intend to include:

1) Under the section of '1920-1963', details about the introduction of leadership elections in 1965

2) Clarification on the 'social policy section', with the modernizers being updated, as Portillo has left the party

3) A section on the Constitution. This has been a crucial issue to the Conservative Party throughout its history and it still is today

4) Under the 'One Nation' section, a detail to show how all Prime Ministers between Baldwin and Heath held the same view as well as a section on the new phenomenon of Red Tory

5) An update on the Eurosceptic tendencies of the free market Tories

6) Details of The High Tory tradition under the 'Traditionalist' section as well as broadening what constitutes traditionalism; it is not purely about the Cornerstone Group

I think you should put these on the article talk page so everyone can see them. — Richard BB 18:58, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
