Speedy deletion nomination of Dunt dunt dunt
A tag has been placed on Dunt dunt dunt, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Syrthiss (talk) 18:09, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Fraudulent Language Lover
[edit]Hey Higginson21, I don't know what you're playing at, but a true lover of language would desribe it as AN ubiquitous and fundamental aspect of human behaviour, not A ubiquitous and fundamental aspect of human behaviour. Don't let me catch you making such mistakes again. 58.171.200.192 (talk) 12:53, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
To whomever composed this message, I think you should brush up on your knowledge of linguistics before concocting such spurious and dissentious claims. The word "an" does not simply precede any word that begins with a vowel; it precedes a word of which the first sound is a vowel. In the word "ubiquitous," the first syllable is considered a palatal approximant, and this is not a vowel. Since the word "an" begins with a near-open front unrounded vowel, to put the word "an" before it would diverge from the most basic linguistic principles and would in essence create more difficulty for a speaker. On a lighter note, however, thanks for taking the time to view my profile.Higginson21 (talk) 16:45, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Astro & Glyde
[edit]A tag has been placed on Astro & Glyde, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]I've deleted your user page... I hope that everything is OK. - Tbsdy (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 04:36, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- This article is great I think it is just a little underdeveloped. I think that the forward could be a little easier to read and could maybe use some of the examples that are used later in the article to help the readers get a clear idea of what Biological functionalism is at the very beginning. 17mmunson (talk) 00:53, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
