Not a good idea...

[edit]

... this. It would be better—read: likely more effective—to go to the article talk page and open a discussion about user Binksternet's revert of your work on the article. Although you have provided no sources, I happen to agree with most of it, so I will not interfere by reverting. Please consider going to the article talk page to discuss, and try to find some sources for your—very—valuable edits. Otherwise I'm afraid they will not survive here. Cheers - DVdm (talk) 18:16, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I have sources but I don't know if they are valid for wikipedia. Amb1997 (talk) 10:18, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If you open a section on the article talk page, we—i.e. you and any other interested editor—can discuss it. It really all—and only—depends on whether we can reach some kind of wp:consensus on that talk page. Perhaps the sources turn out to be acceptable. - DVdm (talk) 10:36, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thank you. Amb1997 (talk) 10:39, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roxy Music, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Gustafson. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
