I believe your comment at User talk:My76Strat#Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:Christopher Daniel Stephanidies Cushion is misplaced. My76Strat did create User talk:Christopher Daniel Stephanidies Cushion, but the history will reveal that he is not responsible for the current content. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 22:43, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for the note, I have removed it. Sorry, it was a quick look at a blocked user by IRC request, I should have looked at the history. -- /DeltaQuad|Notify Me\ 22:49, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Your RfA
Hey, I just wanted to say I'm sorry I can't support you. It really did pain me to oppose, and it's nothing personal, but I just don't think you're ready for the mop. Yet. With time and experience, I think you'll make a great admin. All the best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:56, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- I second that: it really, really isn't personal. The concerns about content relate to situations over the past two years where admins lost the community's trust but couldn't be de-sysopped, so the bar for new admins has risen accordingly. Please don't be discouraged: afaics all you have to do is make solid content contributions for three months and you will be welcomed back to RfA with open arms. Let me know if I can help. All the best - Pointillist (talk) 23:42, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- Exactly. After reading your answer to Q14 i thought it might be a good idea to drop in here to point out that an RFA is by no means a measure to determine the dedication and worth of an editor to the project as a whole. An otherwise excellent editor might still fail an RFA due to other editors having a specific concern, which might be a fairly minor section of the total picture. Don't let this get you down though! My own first RFA was kind of a train-wreck, but the second one went a lot better (So you already have a head start!). Just work on the issues raised and you will breeze trough it next time. And even if that isn't the case you should always keep in mind that the difference between an admin and another user is a mop, a bucket and about 3 buttons and 3 tabs on the interface - and nothing else :). Hi, I'm sorry to say that I have closed your RfA as no consensus. Concerns raised included lack of experience and lack of content work. I encourage you to consider the opposition, continue editing as you have been, and stand again in a few months. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page. A disappointing result, but the concerns raised by the opposition can be overcome. I would encourage you to run again some time in the future. Good luck! CT Cooper · talk 08:59, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Abuse Response
First of all, apologies for my lack of activity at AR recently, it will not happen again! I have been a bit tied up at the moment with real life as well as the wiki. With regards to my current case, I have still not received any further contact from Virgin, should I re-email or use the WebReport form on there website. Thanks, and good luck with the RFA.Acather96 (talk) 18:05, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oh ok, still thought the contact had to be made. It's ok, we all get busy at times. We usually close things down after a month of no response. Just add {{ARA|noreply}} to the bottom of the case, and change the status to closed. -- /DeltaQuad|Notify Me\ 18:20, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- FYI, I have just started two more cases, one of which has been closed. Could you just check that I didn't make any blantantly obvious errors on this case, simply because it's my first case that I investigated alone. Thanks,Acather96 (talk) 15:53, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
- The guide is actually being debated currently. We usually keep the cases open for up to a month after so ISPs know that we are not just shoving it aside. If you could make sure that your on the mailing list and if you could visit us in #wikipedia-en-abuse connect that would be great. -- /DeltaQuad|Notify Me\ 01:33, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
