Hi there - I wanted to explain a little about why I'd undone your latest edit to Yahshua. Wikipedia welcomes edits from anyone and I'd not want to discourage you from editing, but there are some things you might want to bear in mind in future.

First off, Wikipedia is a formal Encyclopaedia. Everyone can contribute, but we do use a certain detached, professional tone - in your edit, you said things like "We who use" - WP isn't only read by people like you, so it needs to be written from a third person perspective - e.g. 'People who use'.

Secondly, I note that you said in your edit summary that it was verifiable, so I presume you've read our policies on Verifiability - but you didn't include sources for the information in the article, so it's impossible for anyone to verify the claims you were making. There are reference tags included in the article if you'd like to make more changes that should show you how they work - if you need any help, though, don't hesitate to ask (you can leave a message on my talk page if you'd like, or the welcome message above should tell you how to shout for help right here.

Once again, Welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope you enjoy it here - don't be put off by early reverts, we're all just trying to make WP the best it can be, and we'd love to have your help in that! --Saalstin (talk) 18:17, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, the accepted conclusion of mainstream scholarship is that the name of Jesus in the original Aramaic/Hebrew was yeshuaʕ ישוע — a post-exilic shortening of yehoshuaʕ יהושע — (where the pre-Masoretic pronunciations would be yeshuʕ and yehoshuʕ respectively), so that your edits to article Yahshua are not acceptable in that particular form... Unfortunately, your edits claimed to be factual a number of things which do not seem to be factual, and your "referances" are a big lump of mis-formatted text at the end, without any clarification of which source is supposed to support which point in the article. It would be nice if you could substantively discuss things, either here or at Talk:Yahshua... AnonMoos (talk) 10:00, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dude, you really need to start discussing things, because what you're doing so far on article Yahshua is simply not working. You seem to have significant struggles in dealing with basic formatting and putting a grammatical sentence together, and your version of the article asserts things which are rejected by the mainstream consensus of scholarly research in the field. Did you notice that you placed a typo in title? AnonMoos (talk) 10:02, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Someone else (not me) has now decided that the article was redundant to Sacred Name Movement.... AnonMoos (talk) 19:01, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
