Hi, Allthatisholyis94. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  22:01, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

The article The dorsch gallery has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Miami Design District has links to art galleries in Miami which do have articles on Wikipedia. Look them over, and see if you can do articles like the ones which were accepted. Also, look at adding photos at Wikimedia Commons to be added to your article. Be careful about licensing, though. Photos that you took yourself are the best, released to public domain or with restrictions. --DThomsen8 (talk) 18:40, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I am wrong, overly hasty in placing an entry here. The links seem to all be to external web sites, not to gallery articles on Wikipedia. --DThomsen8 (talk) 18:43, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

hey thanks so much for your response. this is my first time EVER using wikipedia...it's so cool! so anyway, i see what you're saying about the article seeming to much like promo material for the gallery. and i dont think it'll be hard to change it up to show all the ways that Dorsch gallery is wikipedia-worthy. so again, thanks for the comments, ill get back at you soon with another draft.

No, I think it will be hard to make this article Wikipedia worthy. Look for articles for art galleries elsewhere on Wikipedia. I have found external links, but so far no art gallery articles. --DThomsen8 (talk) 10:51, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
