What the?

[edit]

Well, I certainly didn't log on this morning expecting to find birthday greetings from you. My identity might have been a little harder to figure out from my username than yours, but not much. Thanks, it was quite a surprise. I see you're in RI now, and I trust things are going well. Strange how things happen, eh? - DynSkeet * Talk 12:30, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll drop you a line from home. I'm not even supposed to be wikiing wikipediaing doing stuff on Wikipedia from work. - DynSkeet * Talk 19:28, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And on no particular subject whatsoever, viddy well the weenieish PFHS userbox I made. Feel free to use and/or improve it as you see fit. - DynSkeet * Talk 16:36, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Following up on said weenie userbox, I moved it in an attempt to go along with the German Userbox Solution. It is now located at [[User:DynSkeet/Userbox/Pine Forest High School]]. Correct the link on your userpage at your leisure. - DynSkeet * Talk 16:22, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Vinny testaverde jets.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mosmof 04:38, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Respect Thread Conversions

[edit]

I'm looking for folks to help convert Respect Threads to wiki formatting on Project Fanboy: WikiFans. Respect Threads, showcase scans of feats performed by comic book characters and have gained an audience on several comic book message boards. A few other wiki editors and myself are trying to convert them from the unprofessional look of a bunch of posts on a message board to the formatting common with WikiMedia wiki's. To view an example of what we're doing, here is a link to Respect Silver Surfer.

I was wondering if you might have time to contribute your comic book knowledge and/or scans of comic book characters performing feats, and help us out with our Respect Articles project?Millennium Cowboy (talk) 01:56, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
