ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:43, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2024 National League Championship Series, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dave Roberts. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:52, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(not really important)

[edit]

just realized how similar we are… we both live in SE Texas, your birthday is 1 day after mine, we both appear to like baseball and weather… we are both teenagers… sorry if this bothered you, i just saw how similar we are looking at your page…

anyways sorry for making a pointless topic on your talk page JAFactsDude (talk) 02:05, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@JAFactsDude: Hello. I'm surprised that you left a message on my talk page while I'm editing the scores of the current postseason game. I'm glad you're a baseball and weather fan. To be honest, leaving messages on user talk pages is meant to be for some sort of help, clarifications, and wiki operations. --Allen (talk / ctrb) 02:49, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
sorry, it was something random i noticed JAFactsDude (talk) 03:08, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you don't have to leave something on my talk page if it's not something important. I'm not a teenager but I'm in the 20s right now. I was busy updating the scores in current sport playoff articles and occasionally edit some other articles in case of anything wrong. --Allen (talk / ctrb) 04:05, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

On 31 October 2024, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2024 World Series, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. —Bagumba (talk) 11:57, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
