One Ton Depot SPI
Hi Alison. I've left a note for you on this SPI case asking for clarification on something. Thanks! — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 04:27, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
- Oops - yes. Comment over there now. Sorry about that! - Alison ❤ 04:34, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
LOL
I laughed when I saw your extremely polite edit summary when you recently reverted some, ahem, strange edits to the Pregnancy article, "Umm - The article already says as much. Thanks for adding, though." I don't think it says any of those things anywhere it the article, nor were they at all accurate. But it was sweet of you to be so nice and AGF. Thanks for catching that edit :-) MsBatfish (talk) 10:10, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks! I try to be nice :) - Alison ❤ 02:15, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- I agree with the approach you take, which is emminently sensible and takes less time both in the short and long term. Quicker to just delete comments with brief summary when there is an element of doubt that it was really vandalism, as you did with a later IP edit. Probably it varies from one to another in the case of actual vandals, but I have only reverted one instance and I didn't leave any message on their page. What's the point? If they are really there to vandalise, why draw attention to the fact that its been reverted. Most just hit an article and don't go back, maybe some do once or twice, but my thinking is that checking previous contribs enables one to see when a warning is needed. Never a good move to encourage someone to get themselves hung for a sheep as well as a lamb, so to speak. So good call. DMSBel (talk) 16:38, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

- Funny, the anti-troll ship appears to be on fire. It's well known that Alison has troll blood, so she may consider this gift a poisoned chalice ;) SirFozzie (talk) 16:46, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- LOL!! I've no idea what this is about but I suspect something is going down here ... O_o - Alison ❤ 02:15, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

- "The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle; the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true!" Or "The pellet with the poison's in the chalice from the palace; the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true." The Court Jester Bielle (talk) 02:29, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
- It's a cool picture. Would like to see actual footage. Alison has more tact than to usually need such massive firepower. DMSBel (talk) 19:08, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Request to userfy T-commerce
As per User_talk:Jpbowen#Speedy_deletion_nomination_of_T-commerce, could you Wikipedia:Userfication#Userfication_of_deleted_content#userfy the deleted T-commerce page from me? Many thanks. — Jonathan Bowen (talk) 14:32, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- I've filled this same request as posted on my talk page. Jonathan, give one person a little time to respond before posting the same request to multiple people. LadyofShalott 15:02, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- Many thanks. I noticed too late that User_talk:Alison says she is less active on Wikipedia at the moment. — Jonathan Bowen (talk) 16:34, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Help
Hi Alison, Please advise - I am not sure how to proceed. Concerning this: newbie - User talk:186.73.132.154 seems to actually be this editor Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Alarbus/Archive, apparently acting as a new account, please check into this. Thank you...Modernist (talk) 02:16, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- FYI, Maunus has blocked that IP as being me. It's not. Alarbus (talk) 02:40, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- The IP and you seem to be acting in concert concerning the changes in templates, and your lack of WP:AGF attitude towards various visual arts editors...Modernist (talk) 02:43, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- I've no idea why that IP is editing those templates; I've not even looked at most of the edits, yet. Alarbus (talk) 02:47, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

- Since Maunus has blocked Alarbus now and started a SPI case, I've followed up there. I've also posted a reply on ANI to the questions there, too - Alison ❤ 04:17, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
A Suggestion
Heyas, might I suggest an article that I created (shameless promotion) that might help with any "please stop deleting my page" and "why did you delete my page" posts you might have received. It's User:Neutralhomer/WWMAD. What I do is just post it as {{subst:User:Neutralhomer/WWMAD}}~~~~ and it creates the section header and signs it itself, just a copy/paste job. It might help so you won't have to constantly answer those posts. Just slap the template on their talk page. Feel free to tinker with the page at User:Neutralhomer/WWMAD, if you like. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 01:50, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

Vandalism is vandalism
Please don't encourage vandals by saying you agree with them [1]. NYyankees51 (talk) 22:11, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'm eight years dealing with vandalism and problematic editors on the project. I'll deal with it as I see fit, thanks! There's a time to slam the banhammer down and a time not to; that instance is a not as it's arguably POV and not outright vandalism. See WP:AGF to see why - Alison ❤ 22:19, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
MuZemike talk page post
Yeah, that was a goof on my part. I see the "Hi" and thought it was User:Doughnuthead, who leaves these goofy damn posts that all have the header "Hi". I only seen this from my watchlist, so I should have looked further before reverting. When I investigated further, I found my mistake and actually reverted myself (though you already had but it still let me, strange) with the edit summary "mistake on my part, thought this was another user (vandal that keeps popping up). Again, my mistake, apologizes.". So, yeah, my goof, my apologizes. Sorry. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 09:52, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
