Thanks!
Thanks for rechecking...Glad I could clear my name.--seattlehawk94 (talk) 06:18, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- (de-lurk) - I'm really sorry about getting it wrong :( Glad it's all sorted now - Alison ❤ 06:22, 1 December 2008 (UTC) (email incoming!)
- User:Marlinette is now saying that Seattlehawk94 really was a sockpuppet, but she is wholly innocent and should be unblocked. Personally, I'm of the "block 'em all and let God sort 'em out" attitude at the moment, but thought I'd toss it in your direction. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 11:58, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
CU evidence confirms this is Grawp? If so, there are at least two other related registered accounts and about a dozen IPs. لennavecia 06:16, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Suspicious...
I know you're on semibreak, but this one seems awfully suspicious. Two-day-old account that's targeting one of my few userspace pages. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 22:31, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
re 67.139.45.35
Just in regard to this IP block Alsion: The person using this IP is block from editing because of this and he says that he has verified that this is not a proxy with his ISP. Would it be possible for you to double check this again please?--Cailil talk 01:02, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but click this. It's a proxy (be it open or closed). A portscan reveals that port 6969 is wide open & that is the classic exploit/zombie port. You can ask another checkuser (esp. that I'm largely retired) but I'm not inclined to unblock at this time. How did you become aware of this? I'm not seeing any messages on the IP talk page .... - Alison ❤ 01:18, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Alison, thanks for that. The user effected by this IP block emailed me about it. Is there anything that they can do to with their ISP to rectify this?--Cailil talk 13:31, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- After a bit of googling (on the HTML source given), I'd say this is not a ISP proxy but a customer modem/router (extremely bad configured if since you can access the login console from the Internet). It's likely this computer is a zombie computer. Suggest this user to do a full virus scan on his computer IMO. -- lucasbfr talk 14:36, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Lucasbfr, thanks for that. I hope it helps the user in question--Cailil talk 15:23, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Checkuser advice
I see you are on a wikibreak but thought it was worth throwing this in (especially as it was recommended I ask your advice). I am unsure if a potential checkuser requests would meet the criteria - if I am right it looks like dozens of SPAs have been pushing the agenda of one editor violating WP:BLP and consensus on treating the issue sensitively leading to numerous reversions of their additions. The discussion starts here. No problem if you don't have the time but I thought it worth a try. (Emperor (talk) 14:35, 17 December 2008 (UTC))
Khampalak
With regards to Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/NisarKand, do you have any of your old CU logs on Khampalak? Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 20:25, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
Talk page
Thanks for the revert and the protection. In truth I would rather that it's not protected. I think it's better to have them put that on my page when it can be found than somewhere where it doesn't get noticed. Most of the edits include a phone number wwhich requires that they be oversighted so it's better that they get removed and deleted right away. In fact the last edits were oversighted before I could delete the page. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 03:00, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, that's because I oversighted them :) Feel free to unprot if you like ... - Alison ❤ 03:40, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

You're embarasing JzG
Last time I checked (which was a few days ago), you were surprisingly the person to edit ANI the most. Guy's about fifty behind. You can take some small comfort in that :p Sceptre (talk) 00:30, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Thank you
Hello, thank you for cleaning up a certain mess. I don't think admins and other people who protect Wikipedia get thanked enough. LovesMacs (talk) 02:14, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
Are you still working on this or would you like someone else to finish it up? — Coren (talk) 02:13, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, Coren, but I'm currently dealing with it as part of a larger issue. Right now, I'm emailing Jimmy about it (it relates to User:MyWikiBiz) - thanks, though :) - Alison ❤ 03:34, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Today's FA brings lulz.
Guess what? Uranus is featured on the main page! I see it's already been semi-pro'ed for the duration. Must...not...vandalize...Wikipedia *twitch twitch* ~Eliz81(C) 04:44, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus... but what comes from Uranus? :-) *Dan T.* (talk) 05:02, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

And now, for Fvasconcellos' traditional nonsectarian holiday greeting! ;)
Happy holidays
Thanks for making 2008 an interesting and enlightening year for me; our paths have crossed many times, and I've appreciated your support in so many ways.

I don't know if I am an "established" user, but I will edit it anyway. Thanks for all the support. Sorry for all the grief. And I hope you have a great holiday. It was always a pleasure, even if I was a pain. :) Ottava Rima (talk) 05:13, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
