Quotes in the footnotes
[edit]One thing i'm a little worried about is the quotes I have in the footnotes. A couple of the referenced documents are so long that it would be very difficult to find the relevent passage without pointing it out somehow, but im not 100% sure quoting the passage in the footnote is the right way. Comments?
Temple work for the dead
[edit]Yikes - why can't I seem to find an offical church link for ordanices for the dead needing a temple to be performed? Lots of references to work for the dead being done in temples - but only nonofficial sources saying that they MUST be done in temples. Alienburrito 01:11, 3 August 2007 (UTC)alienburrito
Does the material about work for the dead really belong here?
[edit]The ordaninces of the gospel do relate directly to exaltation, but temple work for the dead doesn't really seem like it relates directly to the topic. True, the dead need the temple work for their salvation, but the question of how the dead gain salvation is different from what salvation IS. So I'm thinking maybe it should be yanked.
