- That's a standard welcome message, but I'm not sure you need those links - you obviously know what you are doing! Portal:Guadeloupe is looking very good after only four days. If you do need help with any of the portal templates, feel free to ask. -- John of Reading (talk) 07:34, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your encouragements, John of Reading. I'm doing my best and having fun doing it. Though, I'm pretty sure I will need help sometime soon. – Alexgrim (talk) 18:25, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Wikipédie en kréyòl Gwadloup
[edit]Salut! J'ai vu que tu parles le kréyòl Gwadloup et je voudrais te demander de l'aide pour améliorer la Wikipédie en cette langue. S'il te plait, aide-moi avec ce projet et, s'il te plait, répond-moi ici. --Chabi1 (talk) 11:46, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Alex,
- I'm trying to find Wikipedians who speak Haitian Creole to help out at the Haitian Creole Wikipedia. User:Bfpage, User:WhisperToMe and a couple of other editors are trying to improve the content there. (I don't speak it, so I'm trying to help out by doing the parts that can happen in English. ;-)
- Please visit and look for your favorite subjects. Most of the articles are one-sentence stubs, and there are only about 50,000 of them altogether. The scope for improvement is vast. If you've got favorite articles here, then you might want to enable the mw:Content translation tool at the bottom of Beta Features for quick and easy translation. Please do consider joining us, or even just dropping by the Kafe to say hello. We're getting more people, but it's a small community, so a new name is always noticed and appreciated. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for February 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
- Margaret Courtenay (actress)
- added links pointing to Spoof, Metropolitan Opera House, Jill Bennett and John Bishop

You are invited to join WikiProject Haiti, an outreach effort which aims to support development of Haiti related articles in Wikipedia. We thought you might be interested, and hope that you will join us. If you'd like to join, please sign up here. L'union fait la force! Thanks! |
Hi Alexgrim, I noticed that you are a native Guadeloupean and a ht-3 speaker (excellent!). There is much history between France and Haiti (formerly Saint-Domingue) and thought I'd at least extend the invite to a completely revamped WikiProject Haiti. Cheers! Savvyjack23 (talk) 19:02, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- Just to follow-up Alexgrim, we are also very interested with the rest of the Franco-Caribbean, especially Guadeloupe and Martinique. Savvyjack23 (talk) 05:37, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:03, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

The article Patrick Saint-Éloi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. PRehse (talk) 12:26, 8 January 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dominik Bernard, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jean (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Guadeloupe portal
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Guadeloupe portal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
