There's lots to learn about wikipedia's "rules". The Wikipedia:Manual of Style is the result of many, many years of editors working together to develop a set of "rules" that works. While I don't agree with everything in the MOS, it does keep the peace. Also, I see no one added a welcome template to your talk page. The teahouse is a great place to ask questions.
