A tag has been placed on Abakals Mission requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Abakals Mission requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hairhorn (talk) 03:44, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Abakals Mission, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. MuffledThud (talk) 10:53, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Abakals Mission. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. I had to delete Abakals Mission

[edit]

Hello,

I regret to say that I have deleted this page that you created, Abakals Mission, because it assert enough importance for our minimal inclusion guidelines. Please do not take this personally or as a reflection on your capabilities as an editor. If the article I deleted was not a copyright infringement, then you may ask me to provide you a copy of the deleted page to work on in your own space, which I will simply move the deleted page to User:Alexanderleenus/Abakals Mission. There you can work on the page until the issues are resolved. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. Thank you, MuZemike 22:29, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Also, please note two additional things:

  1. Organizations/movements/etc. do not come onto Wikipedia to get known; it's the other way around. Wikipedia is not a place to promote things.
  2. You have a conflict of interest with Abakals, which can provide problems as far as writing a neutral article is concerned. For more information, see our neutrality and conflict of interest guidelines.

Hopefully this helps, MuZemike 22:29, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Pledge_of_Abakals.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Pledge_of_Abakals.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:44, 28 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 22:44, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
