Help please make the possible corrections to Lee Min ho (actor) article they are some anti-fans for Lee Min ho especialy User:CherryPie94 which i found today she has messed with article and removed all his quotes please help and bring the article to good status
The success of lee's television series globally established him as a top hallyu star and a global celebrity. could you please include the word global celebrity in the above sentence.it has been mentioned in the lead with scmp source added to it but someone removed it so can you add it thanks again
- through boys over flowers he is popular in Asia-fact
-this scmp source says he is popular in europe continent through city hunter https://www.scmp.com/magazines/style/celebrity/article/3088074/hyun-bin-lee-min-ho-park-seo-joon-and-5-more-korean-drama
-this source says he is popular in African continent currently through TKEM https://ynaija.com/all-you-didnt-know-about-the-lee-min-ho-trend-nigerian-ladies-are-jumping-on/
thus, lee is popular in Asia,Europe and Africa based on above sources he is popular in three continents is more than enough for mentioning worldwide fame or else fame between continents. so please change it
add this sentence in continued success section- On August 6 2020, Studio Dragon announced their financial performance of TKEM over the second quarter on Netflix with a record-breaking US$135 million in total sales.source below http://www.munhwa.com/news/view.html?no=20200807MW07423210103
in media influence change to be crowned as the Asian male god to was crowned as the Asian male god since he was the winner and past tense
Continued success section--The King Eternal Monarch is 12th most watched series on Netflix worldwide beating other k-dramas released that year. source below https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/other/the-king-eternal-monarch-beats-crash-landing-on-you-to-become-most-watched-k-drama-on-netflix-in-2020-yet/ar-BB17v1zQ?li=AAggjDC

Request for review
Alexanderlee Hello :-) Recently I created a new Wikipedia page → The Silent Sea. This is my first Wikipedia page so I need guidance of some experienced wikipedian, so I request you to kindly vist and review this page. And please feel free to correct or make any changes which are necessary. Gratitude. Revolutionery (talk) 09:08, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Revolutionery: Hey there! I’m not really familiar with notability guidelines for television series so I don't really feel comfortable with a proper "review" (plus, I haven’t reviewed any articles before), but I did remove your synopsis. It seems to be a direct copy of what this article says], which is a copyright violation. The synopsis and/or plot must be written in your own words. If you’ve never written an article before or you’re still daily new to Wikipedia, I would highly suggest creating draft articles and submitting them for review rather than publishing an article straight away. This way, more experienced editors can review the article and give you advice/comments on what to improve, any suggestions, things like that. Alex (talk) 09:18, 11 October 2020 (UTC)

Hello, I just noticed that you deleted my edit of the variety shows lee joon hyuk attended as aguest and the reason was because the guesting wasn't listed??? Could you elaborate on that + Didnt you see the reference that I added which can confirm he was part of these tv shows ? Meem0408 (talk) 00:41, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Meem0408: we do not list guest appearances in the articles per consensus among editors not to. (I can't remember the exact link to it, sorry) The sourcing wasn't the issue (hence me not mentioning sources). Alex (talk) 07:57, 13 October 2020 (UTC)

- @Stefanoblackbear: you neither discussed the move on the article talk page or bothered to explain why you were moving the article. I also find it a little odd that you have never made any contributions to the article yet decided to move it to a new title. Please open a move request on the talk page of the article if you think it should be moved so editors can discuss and reach a consensus. Alex (talk) 09:06, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Lisa unreliable sources
Hello! You recently added an unreliable sources tag on Lisa's Wikipedia page, most likely due to something I added. I was wondering if you could specify which ones those are, so I can find new ones or edit the content relating to them out of the page. I'm still relatively new to the scene and referencing is an issue I sometimes struggle with. If it was done and I missed it, please let me know. Thank you for your time! LikeAVVirgin (talk) 18:01, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
- @LikeAVVirgin: The only ones I can say for sure is unreliable is the Metro source (per Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources), Biaswrecker (the article is a direct copy of Koreaboo which is considered unreliable, but BW also do not list anything such as an about section, who they are etc which seems unreliable to me), E Celeb Babies and Kbizoom for similar reasons to BW. Those are the ones that caught my eye, but of the Thai sources I'm not sure either way as I don't understand the language at all. Alex (talk) 18:23, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee: Okay, thank you! Will look into changing them. The video I referenced was used as a reference by Kbizz and BW itself, so those links will just be removed, as there is no need to make further changes. From what I've seen, Thai sites tend to be spot on with the things they say about Lisa, as she's a Thai native and they don't use English sites for references; it's usually vice versa (i.e. Kboo bootlegging what Thai sites posted with rough translations and less accuracy). I'll foot the tag when the rest of them are done. LikeAVVirgin (talk) 19:35, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Why did you undid my revision? It's from GOT7Official social media account. Beombard (talk) 21:24, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Beombard: it's a copyrighted image. Whether it's from their official social media or not you cannot upload pictures that you do not own without permission. Alex (talk) 21:51, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- How about magazine photoshoots? Or getty images on google? I'm sorry I thought I can change it as long as it's from official account. I just really want to change his dp. It has been years already. Beombard (talk) 22:23, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Beombard:, no, not without permission. Images must be available under a free lisence and unfortunately most images are not. Alex (talk) 23:03, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- How would I know if the image were under free license? Beombard (talk) 07:55, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Beombard: I would suggest to start by reading through Wikipedia's image use policy, which has a lot more information than I would be able to give you. As a rule of thumb though, I would advise not to upload any images if you're unsure if they're available under a free license. Alex (talk) 08:15, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

Joy (singer)
@Alexanderlee: Hi there, answer to your question in the edit summary. Well for that, you have to ask RV Enthusiast and his/her disruptive editing in the pretense of "improvements" which clearly isn't. I have to manually revert quite a few paragraphs because of user self-proclaimed "improvements" which some of it is by adding words like "paving" which is clearly fancruft. While also adding fake music videos inside as "improvements" when the video channel clearly stated fanmade videos. I tried manually reverted as much as possible and has issued user level 1 and warning previously despite that user continue to self-proclaimed it is improvements. Anyway, I see you're also manually reverting so just a heads up. Sorry for the lengthy rant. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 11:57, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
The Kid Laroi
Please stop reverting to inaccurate information on the Kid Laroi page. He first signed a development deal with Sony Music Entertainment Australia on June 15, 2017. He then came to the US and signed with Columbia Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment on March 23, 2019. The Kid Laroi has never been signed to Grade A. The sources are wrong. Go ask Columbia. GrantEdwards (talk) 05:01, 6 May 2021 (UTC)Grant Edwards
- @GrantEdwards: no, you can stop removing sourced information without a relible souce to back up your claims. If you still think the information is incorrect then you can open a discussion on the article talk page with sources which support the changes you want to make and editors can discuss how to move forward wirh your concerns. Removing the information and claiming

is not good enough. Alex (talk) 06:48, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
Lightsum
@Alexanderlee: Hi Alex, I'm contacting you in regards to Lightsum article. Just curious why, notability is an issue on Lightsum article while it isn't an issue for Aespa article when the redirect was removed on 2 November 2020. From 2 Nov to 17 November, only primary source maintenance template was added. Hence, would like to know if there is an differences because it doesn't from my understanding. The sources included from then in Aespa article also the same coverage type as what is currently included in Lightsum article. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 06:41, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll: I don't see how another article existing is an excuse for this one to? Someone not tagging that for notability doesn't mean that this one can't be. Where is the significant coverage? Where is notability met because all I am seeing is typical release information which doesnt equal significant coverage or notability. It's a case of WP:TOOSOON IMO. I tagged for notability instead of redirecting or moving to draft because I could be missing something, but im not seeing the notability here. (BTW, I'll get notified anyway so you don't need to ping me here) Alex (talk) 07:41, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee: Erm ... okay. I decided to remove the redirect because I calculated the timeline to be around the same as Aespa article redirect was removed which I based the structure on, rather than WP:TOOSOON because Aespa article was also reviewed almost immediately after the redirect was removed and content was added hence don't think it is. I doubt reviewer would even marked it as reviewed when the notability is an issues because at that time, the content and source included is basically the type of content and source included currently in Lightsum article as they are both routine as well. Other than primary source issues within the 1st week of Aespa article creation, the source included afterwards till November 17 when their debut single was released are all routine. For now, I have removed the maintenance template as mentioned above, I don't see why the treatment should be different as the coverage is equally the same. Rather than drafting it, would under construction template be fine or just leave it as it is till June 10? I think drafting is too much, because frankly speaking, drafting is more problematic than mainspace reviewing where there would be cases where drafting keep getting rejected but once it was moved to mainspace despite rejected on draft, the article was marked as reviewed instead without much "hoo-ha" like on draft. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 07:55, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Paper9oll: Well, if you're going to dismiss concerns and not address the notability because the other article exists then there's really no point in a discussion, is there. Have a good day. Alex (talk) 08:06, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee: Alright then, well I guess just maintain as it is first till June 10. Sorry about that and have a nice day. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 08:12, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello! The "Production Credits" table in Bobby's page is not up-to-date. I already updated the List of songs written by Bobby page (and that took me several hours, because I had to go through every song he ever made on KOMCA). This page is essentially the same thing as the "Production Credits" table, but in more detail. Having the "Production Credits" table seems like a wasted/duplicate effort to me. Bostonite01310 (talk) 17:49, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Bostonite01310: Then remofe the table in its entirety, but adding a hidden note that hides the entire table, where majority of editors aren't likely to see unless they edit that section (which now just looks like a "see also" link that doesn't need editing) isn't really helpful. That's what the talk pages are for. Alex (talk) 17:55, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

Hi Alex, even though there are no Wikipedia articles on single albums under "Midnight Blue", there are several albums and single songs with the same name i.e.,"Midnight Blue". I have gone through the Wikipedia rules for naming the title of the article and I'm convinced that the name of the artist needs to be in the title for this article "to be identified and distinguished from other subjects". So I would like to change it back to Midnight Blue (B.I Single Album). Bostonite01310 (talk) 00:47, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Bostonite01310: There's no reason to have the extra artist disambiguation when an article for a single album of the same name does not exist. The (single album) disambiguator already distinguishes it from other articles as it's the only single album of that name. Feel free to make a move request to establish a consensus though. Alex (talk) 01:00, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee: Ah thanks. I made a move request now. Is that the only way though? Also is there a way I can provide an option of two titles, like either the first or the second to choose from, in these move requests? Bostonite01310 (talk) 01:25, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- As a move that is likely to be contested (as I didagree with it and so may others) a move reauest is the best option. You likely could give two options, but in all honesty I'm not sure how you would go about doing it that way. Alex (talk) 01:54, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Alex, I'll rename it to Midnight Blue (Love Streaming) because that's the original name of the album anyway and it'd satisfy your disambiguation criteria. Can you guide me as to how to end the move request please? Bostonite01310 (talk) 04:32, 13 July 2021 (UTC)

It’s a public place where people share and search info. It is not owned by anyone. JLML718 (talk) 07:32, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- @JLML718: As I stated in the edit summary the first time I undid your edit, we do not list these one off and guest appearances on variety shows. They're not notable for inclusion. Aside from us not listing them, you also did not provide a single source for hour edits, so even if it was an appearance that was notable for inclusion anyone could and possibly would have recerted it for the simple fact it was unsourced. Moon Bin and Sanha Update
Why are you undoing my update? Those are legitimate projects that they have from a legitimate article and it shows on the image that Moonbin and Sanha were lyricist and composers of the song. The Astro Zone show is also legitimate as a web series. You need to your own research before undoing people's hardwork. Lilylovesreading19 (talk) 00:55, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Lilylovesreading19: As I stated in the dit summary, the sources you used are not reliable sources. Information needs to be verified by relible sources. perhapse you should have a better understanding of that before you come to me with "you need to your own research". Jang Dongyoon Update
Hi, I see you've deleted 5 rows of my update on his variety/reality shows and you've stated to the other person here: "we do not list these one off and guest appearances on variety shows."
May I know whether your decision to delete those was based on specific rules I don't know about or was it your own opinion of relevancy? Please direct me to valid sources, thank you~
I have provided valid news sources for each shows and I think those visiting his page might be interested to use these references even when he was only guesting in 5 out of 8 shows listed before.
I see other pages are fine with the inclusion of these one off guesting/appearances on reality/variety shows. Some don't even have citations yet. One of those examples: Park Bo-gum filmography
If you check his Namu.wiki page, they neatly include those too, very useful for people newly interested in him. Chunva718 (talk) 21:50, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Chunva718: we don't list those appearances per a local consensus where editors came to the decision that these appearances are not notable and add little, if anything, to the indivulidual's career. You can find that discussion here. If you come across these appearances included in articles, feel free to remove them – I have removed those which you pointed out at Park Bo-gum filmography. It's not necessarily that they're "fine" being included, but sometimes things go un-noticed. It's also worth noting that what Namu Wiki includes in their arricle is pretty irrelevant here as they're a website not related to Wikipedia and where far more trivial information is included than would be here, and as its content is user-generated it isn't considered a reliable source to use on Wikipedia anyway. (You can find a list of reliable and unreliable sources relating to WikiProject Korea here if that would be helpful to you.) Alex (talk) 22:14, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
Kwak Dongyeon update
Hello, About height, I saw many korean actor and actree has this in their pages, such as Lee Jongsuk, Park Shinhye, Lee Minho.
Also external links to instragram as well such as Park Seojoon, Seo Kangjoon, Lee Minho.
Then why can't I add this to Kwak Dongyeon 's page as well? Samekizofu (talk) 10:31, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Many actors and actresses Samekizofu (talk) 10:32, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Here are some more actors I saw that there are height and Instagram link in their pages.
Instragram link >Kim Soohyun, Lee Dohyun, Ahn Jaehyeon, Seo Inguk, Hwang Inyoup, Song Joonggi, Song Kang
Height > Ahn Jaehyeon, Cha Eunwoo, Hwang Inyoup, Nam Joohyuk, Gong Yoo, Song Kang, Lee Soohyuk Samekizofu (talk) 11:00, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Some are not even have citation..
Please clarify this issue to me.
Thank you so much Samekizofu (talk) 11:03, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu: just because something exists in another article doesn't mean it should be there or should be added to every article. Kwak is not a model, his height is irrelevant to his career and irrelevant to his notability and therefore we do not need it per the infobox template. As for the Instagram link, Wikipedia is not a social media directory. One official link is enough. Alex (talk) 14:46, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
So in conclusion, Kwak is not a model, no need to add height. I understand now.
About external links, can i add link to his Instragram instead of Twitter then? Because he's a lot more active there. Samekizofu (talk) 16:44, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu: Yes, that should be fine. I only kept Twitter with my edit as that was the top one. Alex (talk) 19:45, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Hi, I thought u have already approved the reviews I added to his page. Because u clean up, and delete the height i added, and correct his external links.
And the one i added recently, is the revised version, i shorten and cut out with another regular Wikipedia editor named @Aoowassana, and she's already approved them Samekizofu (talk) 14:47, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Most k-actors also have Fan meeting and reviews like this in their pages, also all the reviews and information i added have proper citations. Samekizofu (talk) 14:49, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
I dont think you should delete them all like this. If u deleted thwm all like this, it should nt suppose to have the career section at all, lets just delete a whole section. because its too short.. There s no any other details.. U can just go directly to his filmography or award section.. Why bother have career section then.. Samekizofu (talk) 14:51, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
U can confirm this with @Aoowassana editor, she agreed to add these information in his page Samekizofu (talk) 14:53, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
U were fine with me adding these details before though, u didn't delete all the reviews i added like this. U can check in his edit history section. TT Samekizofu (talk) 14:55, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Can u please undo this please? If its not well written enough i will revised them again, not deleting them all like this. I saw many otger k actors singers or Hollywood actors, also have reviews or the characters details like this. Why he couldn't have too? Samekizofu (talk) 14:59, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- Just because I didn’t remove it previously doesn’t mean I “approved” it. I intended on going through it when I had more time. What you've added is not neutral and heavily biased, that isn’t acceptable on Wikipedia. Like I've said to you previously, just because something exists in another article doesn’t mean you need to add it to this one. An admin even removed it before I did. I'm not going to undo the edit, two editors have reverted you at this point so if you disagree then start a thread on the article talk page and get consensus to restore the information.
- Also, please use the preview button when you’re leaving a message here to check you have written everything you want to say. There’s no reason why you can’t make a single edit instead of clogging up the history and leaving spaces everywhere to leave six different messages. Alex (talk) 15:05, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
I apologize I didnt write them all together in the same reply. I used my mobile phone to replied to you here. It doesn't have the preview button like u said. There's only a public button. And the box to write is really small can be seen only 3 sentences.
Also, please help delete the fan meeting from other korean actors and singers pages too. Here are some i found.(mostly in fanmeeting or career section) -Kim soohyun -Cha eunwoo -Lee joon gi -Park bo gum -Song joong ki -Jang ki yong -Jung hae in (in public relations section) -Bambam(singer) I just want justice and the same standard...
I will edit his page with not biased information from now on, so Please help revise and suggest me later. Tysm

Hi Alex, I need your advice about the updated informations I want to add to Kwak Dong-yeon's career section. please help me revise it. Is this one good enough? I already revised them with my English friend, so I hope it's well-written, also I try not using Peacock words to make it look biased anymore. I only write about the details of the characters that he portrayed, and the achievement of his works, and his nomination.
Here's the information.
1. The Elephant song 2019
This season play recorded high seat occupancy and an audience rating of 9.5 increasing over time. The performance period was extended by two weeks.

6.moonlight
His performance was evaluated as a successful leap forward as an adult actor. He also drew an enthusiastic response from viewers and gained more attention portraying a character that was nicknamed 'God Byung-yeon' by the viewers and medias. The role earned him a nomination for the Best New Actor at the 2016 KBS Drama Awards, and the 10th Korea Drama Awards.
7.Vincenzo
The drama was very popular among viewers globally leading to his increased popularity. It's finale received a 14.6% rating, making it one of the highest-rated dramas in Korean cable television history. Kwak played the role of Jang Han-seo, the half-brother of Jang Jun-woo(Ok Taecyeon) who publicly acts as Chairman of Babel Group in his brother's place. He received praises for his acting from viewers and medias— from 'his rediscovery' to 'him being the best 1997 born actor in Korea'.
8.Radio Romance
,playing the role of a psychiatrist who is Ji Soo-ho (Yoo Seung-ho)'s high school classmate and personal doctor.
9.Middle School Student A
The drama and his performance received a warm response from viewers and medias.
10.Inspiring generation
His portrayal of a boy who struggled as the head of the family from an early age to fill the father's vacancy, was well-received by the viewers and garnered him a nomination at the 16th Seoul International Youth Film Festival for the Best Young Actor Award.
11.Never twice
He played the role of Na Hae-jun, the heir of a five-star hotel. Kwak fascinated the viewers and critics with his acting skills earning him a nomination for the Excellence Award, Actor in a Weekend Drama at 2019 MBC drama Awards, and for the Excellent Award, Actor in Serial Drama at the 7th APAN Star Awards.
12. SBS 'Doctor Detective' ,portrayed the process of being destroyed by an industrial accident, but also expressed the workers desperation for their families and survival. It was praised for increasing the concentration of viewers by adding power to the atmosphere of the drama.
Is this ok to add now? Should I cut out some more part? If you have any recommendation, please guide me. Thank you so much

- @Samekizofu: I think you'd be better opening a thread on the talk page so more editors can add their input too. It's harder to answer you because there aren't any sources in your message, so I can't check if what you're saying is backed up by the sources. Alex (talk) 09:28, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- I already have all proper sources for this. These information are the same as what i posted before you deleted them, but I summarized only the important and proper one enough to add here on Wikipedia. Samekizofu (talk) 10:53, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu: and I'm saying without going through them, I can’t answer you. Alex (talk) 10:56, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

- The references are still in his Wikipedia page, because you and other editors only deleted the information I added(not the reference). And the nominations are all from his Awards section.
So do I still need to ask this again on his talk page? You mean on his article talk page? Samekizofu (talk) 10:59, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu: Yes, I would still suggest opening a thread on the article talk page for more editors to join the discussion. Editors aren't likely to respond right away though, so give it some time. Alex (talk) 12:06, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
I have never done it before. I just have to post like I did to you here right? It's really that big of a deal to ask all editors like that? For how many editors have to approve, so it could be added? TT Samekizofu (talk) 12:32, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
I just posted in his talk page with citations. Please help revise. tysm Samekizofu (talk) 13:26, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
Astro Switch On Draft
Hi Alex,
Just want to get confirmation if Hanteo News is legitimate source for album sales in Korea? I added it as a chart? But I am actually unsure if it should be a chart or album sales? Please let me know if I need to make any necessary changes. Here is the link to the draft. Switch On Dra Buft: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Draft:Switch_On
Lilylovesreading19 (talk) 04:34, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Lilylovesreading19: I'm actually not sure on this one, sorry @Abdotorg:, is this one you know the answer to? Alex (talk) 05:50, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Lilylovesreading19 and Alexanderlee: Apologies for the slow reply, according to WP:Record charts#Suitable charts we should never use Hanteo as a chart, Gaon is the widely used chart for South Korea, with Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 used as a secondary chart. Looking at the Hanteo News source you use in the article it clearly refers to the Hanteo Chart instead of the Gaon Chart therefore it should not be used as a reference. If you have any problem searching Gaon please let me know and I will fill in the necessary chart peaks and references for you. Abdotorg (talk) 13:14, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Abdotorg: Ok, thank you. It seems someone else has created a successful article for the album so I will not update it so it can be deleted. I'm not sure how to delete the article draft, so I will just wait 6 months for it to autodelete.
Astro Group Pic
Hi Alex,
Trying to change the group pic since it's very old. And obviously due to the pandemic, no one can really see them in person so I have been trying to get an image of them to update it.
Wouldn't the files below be legal to use since it's in YT? And YT gives permission for their videos to be screenshot and used that screenshot image anywhere?
And this is the one your marked copyright: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Astro_The_Show_Performance_210810.png Here is one with a Copyright and Licensed to YT: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Astro_suit_performance.png
Lilylovesreading19 (talk) 15:51, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Lilylovesreading19: both of those images are copyright violations and will be deleted. YouTube allows the uploaded to mark their videos with a CC license, but unless that license is clearly marked you cannot use screenshots from that video. Neither of those videos are released under a CC license which allows their reuse. Alex (talk) 15:55, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Lilylovesreading19 you have been told multiple times to stop uploading copyrighted pictures to commons. You have now uploaded 17 copyrighted pictures. I have requested that you be temporarily blocked from commons since it doesn't look like you will stop uploading copyrighted pictures. EN-Jungwon 16:05, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Fan meeting
Hi Alex,
I would like to ask you about adding fan meeting info to Kwak Dong-yeon's page. Is the fan meeting not allowed to add to Wikipedia? What's the difference between the information i added before, and the the other Korean actors, singers that allowed to have these information?
For example
(Mostly are in the career section, and fanmeeting table section) -Kim soohyun -Cha eunwoo -Lee joon gi -Park bo gum -Song joong ki -Jang ki yong -Bambam (singer) -Park jinyoung -Kim hyunjoong -Lee Jongsuk -Jung hae in (in public relations section)
I gave you and drmies the list before, and nothing has changed ever since. I don't really understand, please clarify this matter to me. Tysm. Samekizofu (talk) 12:09, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu: Hi there. Drmies stated in their response to you that fanmeetings fall under WP:NOTNEWS so I would suggest reading that and see if that clears anything up. If not, you might be best asking Drmies again. In my opinion, the fact that a fan meeting happened is not something that needs mentioning in an article unless there is something particularly notable about it. Alex (talk) 12:42, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee Samekizofu consulted me via my talk page, I suggested using the same design as concerts and tours section (example – Jeong Eun-ji#Concerts and tours) minus any form of prose, however I'm not 100% sure if that is applicable or if it's violating WP:NOT. Maybe you could answer that. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:49, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee@Paper9oll Sorry for the late reply, the notification is not showing up T_T. I read WP:NOTNEWS @Alex and Drmies told, I dont completely agree that Fan Meeting falls under this topic. It's Like an artist can't have concerts or tours written on their pages... Fan meeting is also that kind of events for Korean entertainers. The fans have to buy expensive tickets in order to attend. If the artists are popular enough, then they can hold fan Meetings internationally. It's a part of their careers. If you wont allow me to add this information to his career section, then can I add it to the Fan Meeting section (in table format) or in Public Relations section instead then?

However, if @Alex and Drmies not agree to this. I understand and wont add it to his page, but you should delete these Fan Meetings information in other artists pages too, not only just Kwak Dong-yeon.
Please check out and delete from these pages. If you won't approve me to add to his page.
in Career section -Cha eunwoo -Lee joon gi -Bambam(singer) -Park jinyoung -Kim hyunjoong -Lee Jongsuk
in Fan Meeting section -Kim soohyun -Park bo gum -Jang ki yong
in both Career & Fan Meeting section -Song joong ki
in Public Relations section -Jung hae in
Thank you @Paper9oll for helping me and giving me advice. Waiting for your response @Alex TYSM Samekizofu (talk) 16:07, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Samekizofu: I completely understand your confusion with things being included in other articles, but you also have to remember that there are thousands upon thousands of people who edit Wikipedia and sometimes things aren't noticed, and also that something being in another article doesn't necessarily mean that it should be in another. The "it's in that article, so it should be in this one too" argument isn't likely to get you far. (BTW, if you’re wanting to tag another editor, you can use {{reply|USERNAMEHERE}} and that should notify them unless that have that option turned off in their own preferences. You wouldn’t have to tag me here though as I will be notified automatically because it is my talk page.)
- In all honesty, I think fan meeting inclusion should be taken to the project page for a wider discussion so we can come to a consensus and something to refer back to. It’s something that gets added and removed from various articles with different editors giving different opinions so I think it would be beneficial if we had a consensus on the subject. @Paper9oll:, what would you think of a broader discussion? Alex (talk) 16:25, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee My views on this topic is neutral, however I don't mind moving to broader discussion. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:43, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Alexanderlee Please do so broader discussion. So it'll be the same standard. Samekizofu (talk) 16:55, 17 August 2021 (UTC)

Updating (G)I-DLE annual awards achievements
Hi Alex, I want to ask, is it okay to delete the old data without any proper explanation? So I asked one contributor to add (G)I-DLE the newest annual music award. But he argued the source is non-reliable despite coming from official website and chinanewsdaily. Also, HE DELETED THE OLD AWARD! The OLD award has been there for 3 years. Please help me bto correct it because THERE ARE PLENTY of annual award from another group using secondary source from non-english website but no one delete it.
