Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Alerton1345, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:Alerton Australia, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Alerton Australia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Mz7 (talk) 04:39, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am being paid to write this article but the instruction were unclear on how to declare the employer when first creating the article. To help with this could you please send a guide on how to disclose the employer. I understand that I was blocked because I wrote promotional material within the "Alerton Australia" draft and will not do it again. To ensure this does not happen again I will ensure anything I post will adhere to the wikipedia rules and regulations. If I were to be unblocked I will ensure I properly read the work to ensure that there is no promotional material and only publish insightful material that in unbiased and with no promotional intent.

Decline reason:

Your choice of new username would be acceptable. However, please understand that Wikipedia is not interested in what a company wants to say about itself and its products. A Wikipedia article about a company should summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. In short, Wikipedia is interested in what others say about the company, not what it says about itself(such as press releases, the company website, staff interviews, brief mentions, announcements of routine activities, and other primary sources). Please review the policies noted below. You won't be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road for your Wikipedia career. If you want to be a general contributor and edit about topics unrelated to your conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. If you can demonstrate a good edit history showing that you understand Wikipedia guidelines, you may later be permitted to indirectly edit about your company. Feel free to show your superiors this message. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 07:48, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
