Hello! I am currently working on the "Swedish Project" and "Award and Prizes"'s article Nobel Prize. Since it is a top importance article and not even GA class I am trying to make it a GA article and perhaps further after that. However, I'm in a state now where I could use some help. I need a new pair (several pairs in fact) of eyes to look at the article and the talk page for improving prose, debation of different things and some sourcing. Do you got any possibility to help out? Thanks...

Thanks for contributing new article Eva Helen Ulvros. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources. Please help by adding more sources to the article you created, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the material (see here for how to do inline referencing). Many thanks! PS If you need any help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 14:07, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Eva Helen Ulvros has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 14:15, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

List of gothic rock bands

[edit]

Requesting your assistance with this list as it seems to have become overrun with metal acts and consensus is being ignored. You seem a rather experienced/level headed editor and I am requesting that you look at the current debate on the talk page. Thank you. Klarion L-7 (talk) 21:58, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

discussion re. images at Sex positions

[edit]

Hi there,

I don't know if you're watching this discussion, in which you suggested that someone might make some better images. I have been attempting to address the problem by uploading & including historical/art images, but of course there are many, many "fans" of Seedfeeder's illustrations who are passionately opposed to the use of anything that doesn't look like a porn still or something out of a sex manual (and also anything that doesn't reflect a dominant, male heterosexual viewpoint). I could really use some support there (if you have time & are so inclined) for my changes, though so far I have only added a few and haven't removed anything, as that would only cause an edit war.

Anyhow, not sure you're still interested but thought I'd let you know.

Thanks :) -- TyrS  chatties  08:15, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
