I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. BowieNet has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this website might not yet be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (websites) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. A tag has been placed on SWAP.avi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:SWAP.avi. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Eggishorn 17:59, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

that's cool alecz. for the record i don't believe you should have been banned from watmm, but vandalizing the page here instead is stupid. --Kaini 19:21, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
whatever dude. more than one person is now keeping an eye on the article anyway as a result. and it's good etiquette to sign your posts on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~) --Kaini 19:24, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Harry Potter and the Decline of the High Elves

[edit]

The article Harry Potter and the Decline of the High Elves has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 20:45, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I noticed that you attempted to file a deletion discussion (on the article Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lee Westwick) but did not complete the process. Please note that, when listing an article for deletion, a discussion page needs to be made for other users to discuss whether to keep or delete the article. This is typically done by following the steps listed here. Note that if you are editing as an unregistered user, you cannot create a discussion page. Please consider registering an account or asking another user to help you complete the process at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion. Thank you.
