Igloo
I just got this while trying to launch Igloo: "- Warning: igloo could not connect to the remote server. Loading stopped." Any idea what's happening? MJ94 05:52, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- Make sure that the connection is not being blocked by noscript and that security software is not preventing remote JavaScript inclusion. Ale_Jrbtalk 17:53, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
- Nothing has changed since the last time I've used it. MJ94 06:26, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

I launched igloo, and I find huggler Blehfu (talk · contribs) blacklisted. Could you please remove him from the blacklist? Thanks. ~NerdyScienceDude 13:37, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
- igloo automatically whitelists trusted users such as rollbackers, and appears to have done so User:Blehfu. Cheers, Ale_Jrbtalk 21:15, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Igloo connection problems
Hi Ale jrb: I installed Igloo in my vector.js file (I'm using the new skin), and I can see the launch option in my toolbox. I try launching, and it opens up the window and loads just fine with no errors until, the second it connects, it returns the following error: "- Warning: igloo server returned an error: token-mismatch: your request token could not be verified by the server. Loading stopped." I tried it in a couple different browsers, and I am 100% sure that I have javascript turned on, nothing blocking it, and I have rollback and reviewer rights. Any help you could give me would be much appreciated. I can't wait to start using it. Thanks! WikiTome Talk 15:36, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know much about igloo but perhaps if you install the Javascript Compatibility Library in the Gadgets tab in Special:Preferences it might help. Regards, —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 7:43pm • 09:43, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be changing anything at the moment. WikiTome Talk 11:43, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
The igloo server is working correctly. Do you have the NoScript addon? What security software do you use? Do you have a proxy? Ale_Jrbtalk 14:39, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Igloo whitelist?
If you keep one, since Uncle G's major work 'bot seems to be running, and they all show up as possible vandalism, you might want to whitelist it. Please leave me a talkback if you can. Allmightyduck What did I do wrong? 20:54, 21 September 2010 (UTC)

A suggestion
Hi Ale jrb, I was wondering if you could create a script or AutoEd module that scans an article for the most common typos, i.e. privelege, thier etc. and which corrects them, privelege to privilege, thier to their etc. If you could that would be much appreciated :) Also I can only use IE at the moment so I was wondering if I could ask when Igloo can be made IE compatible? Regards, —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 6:57pm • 08:57, September 22, 2010 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) It it very unlikely Ale jrb will be making Igloo compatible with IE at this time based on prior discussions. ~NerdyScienceDude 13:19, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- It may depend on the exactly compatibility changes in IE9, but igloo will never be compatible with IE8 or below, because it just doesn't work properly, and required features, such as XML parsing from HTML that are present in all other browsers, are simply not available in internet explorer. Ale_Jrbtalk 14:40, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- I hope it will be compatible with IE9. Thanks Ale, cheers, —Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм • Champagne? • 8:02pm • 10:02, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

Igloo filters
Hi Ale jrb. Igloo's great and I'm trying to learn a bit more about its filters. Is there an index/directory/list of them somewhere, or someone's great collection? Thanks, Ocaasi (talk) 01:15, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- The details of the filter system is here. Few people actually use them, so there aren't really any examples apart from mine. Sorry. Ale_Jrbtalk 10:22, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- Not to be pushy, but do you happen to have a list that you use in your own system? (Aside from the default filters which come pre-loaded). It seems like with a handful more of them, igloo would be triply effective, and it's already pretty good. Ocaasi 16:46, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
- A list of what? My filters are the default filters. Ale_Jrbtalk 23:55, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
