My name is Kevin Cornwall, but I am not the young football player in question. People do search me out on the Internet, but this Wikipedia article on the other KC is misleading. Also, this guy has no more importance than me or a dozen other Kevin Cornwalls. Can we change the title to Kevin Cornwall (Irish footballer) and then move it? Please help. --Kcornwall (talk) 23:14, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi
You've already deleted this once today, it's back again (but may have gone by the time you read this).
I don't know what the threshold for salting is, but this page does keep being created by a variety of users (probably all the same one really). Other pages to look out for are Archie Harrison and Archie "Affical" Harrison pablohablo. 10:24, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- As this page was last created by a different user in February, I have just warned the user for now, but I'll keep an eye on it. Cheers, Ale_Jrbtalk 10:28, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

I am at a loss. I thought I was following the rules but I was deleted again. Is there someone here that I can submit the page to that can give it a look so we can post Platinum Interchange on here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamestown99 (talk • contribs) 16:25, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Could you help me delete this article, because the content is not notable enough at this point in time to be included in Wikipedia. Thanks. --Phillip J (talk) 22:01, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

P.S. Replay on my talk page.
Sorry, I copied yours; the only experience I have with Javascript is when my old friend gave me a script, thas how I make so many insect related articles. But I don't know what would happen if I attached it to my monobook

Thanks for your work on this and my apologies if I went about things the wrong way. My only excuse is that is was late at night down-under and I wasn't paying proper attention. Regards Minorhistorian (talk) 21:54, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Deleted page
I am trying to find out why a page I had started was deleted. I had started a Albemarle Opera House-Starnes Jewelers Building page to discuss the historic nature and history of the building. The Opera House is no longer in use and but has an interesting history. You can see my www.albemarleoperahouse.com page to see what I mean. Please help me understand what I had done wrong so I can do this correctly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.223.63.211 (talk) 13:44, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Deleted page CRJ
You recently deleted the article CRJ following a G11 request, the G11 request followed a complete change of content on the same day it was nominated. I intend to restore the prior version but just thought it was polite to notify you first. MilborneOne (talk) 18:57, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know - I have restored the page. Ale_Jrbtalk 21:34, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Peter Hill (photographer)
Hi there! Could you review your speedy on Peter Hill (photographer) please? I had just declined the speedy as this version of the article had a link to an article about the photographer, which appeared to address the concerns raised at the AfD (and which wasn't in the article the last time it was deleted). Thanks. GedUK 15:10, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

RE: CSD
Thanks for the notification--my reasoning for tagging Feeling the vibe under CSD G11 was related to some of the language involved in the text that was written from a non-neutral point of view, as well as the fact that the user who created the page shares the name. However, I do agree that it also does fall under CSD A7. All the best, TheLetterM (talk) 21:46, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

I'd just like to ask what criteria makes one band any more significant than another? you have countless bands and musicians that are currently on wikipedia, why are some allowed and some are deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Durney22 (talk • contribs) 22:08, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
Vandalism Message
You recently left me a message regarding a reverted Iconic Bond edit. You are mistaken. I have never seen that page before and I don't even have no bloody idea what it is. Your mistake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.248.18.92 (talk) 01:42, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

I understand the speedy deletion criteria perfectly, thank you. We must have different views about the interpretation of G11. This article looks like it was written by the PR department, so if it's staying, it will need to be pruned extensively. – ukexpat (talk) 14:51, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
- The article is months old, has non-promotional content in the lead and later on in the article, and will have to be taken to AFD or PROD-ed if you wish to delete it. Speedy deletion is inappropriate here. Thanks, Ale_Jrbtalk 14:52, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
- So what if it's months old? We can disagree about the non-promotional content, but the age of the article is irrelevant. "Speedy" refers to the process, not the time since creation. – ukexpat (talk) 19:09, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Funnily enough, I'm aware of what the 'speedy' refers to - I have actually read the policy :). My experience in the area, however, indicates that older articles have several things going for them: a) they are generally less likely to meet the criteria, and always warrant a closer look. This happened here. b) There is often useful material that can be reverted to or extracted to at some point in the history. If this is the case, regardless of any action taken (or not taken) an article does not meet the criteria. c) They often have multiple editors watching them who have edited before, rather than just one. Speedy deletion means an admin may delete the article without discussion - in cases like this, I prefer not to as it's much easier to get an editor who will help fix the article. Hope you understand now. Cheers, Ale_Jrbtalk 20:47, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

"Launch Dynamic Media" was deleted May 20. Could you explain why this page was deleted and how this agency page is any different than those posted by large agencies? My goal is to create an historical and factual page for Launch Dynamic Media. Thank youBillcombs (talk) 19:39, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
