I have moved your help request to the end of this page --  Chzz  ►  11:13, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hello, Albin1234, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Manorama tell me why, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted (if it hasn't already).

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Rtphokie (talk) 15:43, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Manorama tell me why

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Manorama tell me why requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Manorama tell me why. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Kingpin13 (talk) 15:52, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Help

[edit]

Hello again, what do you want help with? --  Chzz  ►  13:28, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

can users also tag pages semiprotected?

(Unsigned comment above was 13:31, 13 March 2009 Albin1234)

Please remember to sign all of your edits, by putting ~~~~ at the end, or click the 'sign' button above the edit box.

Anyone can create a page, but you cannot make a page semi-protected unless you are an administrator.

You can ask for a page to be semi protected, and if it meets the policy, it will be done for you.

Details can be found in WP:SEMI.

I hope that answers your question; if I can help more, please ask again. Thanks! --  Chzz  ►  13:47, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You should be able to, you've been here long enough. What happens when you click here? Also, please remember to sign your comments on talkpages with four tildes (~~~~) to insert your signature. //roux   05:51, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article ONGC Public School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:MILL institution. Fails WP:NSCHOOL.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 08:21, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
