If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Anya Camilleri requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I've improved this article a bit; the trouble is there seems to be very little in obvious reliable sources that's above her role in NY-LON and Incubus. I'll see what else I can do but her notability is tenuous as it currently stands, I'm afraid. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 21:10, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Albertino2015. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, The Orchard Book of First Greek Myths, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Fisheriesmgmt (talk) 19:29, 5 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Treasure in Malta, telecard.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

Having been an account holder for many years, having created many unique articles here. I no longer feel that the system here warrants anything else other than disruptive behaviour when dealing with moron editors who cannot be bothered to read properly the historic material they are happily and blidly destroying. I have all the time in the world , have an unlimited supply of IP addresses so you will never block me from editing......Go away and let me deal with the editor I an ib dispute with or you and your colleagues will have a full time edit war on here....don't try and humour me , been there done that ...don't try and think you have the answer , been there done that.

I Have left a message on the talk page of the moron destroying a historical article (1971) unique to Wikipedia people like him have good intentions but no brain capable of free thought. Do not vontinue to hassle me or we will go to war big time ...I have all the time in the wotld ..do you ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.131.4.246 (talk) 00:20, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of By Jiminy Ahoy

[edit]

Your recently created the page By Jiminy Ahoy about a children's book. The article does not currently explain why or how the book is notable. Some citations to publishes criticism or discussion of the book, including reviews, would be helpful. Of course these should come from Reliable sources. A quick Google search didn't show anything helpful, but of course reviews published when this first came out would probably not be online. DES (talk) 17:44, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
