Question
[edit]This help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
I recently wrote a little entry which makes reference to a complex word from another language and it seems like there are people editing wikipedia who could expand on it.
Any ideas on how to grab the attention of people with really specific interests?
In this case, I'd like to ask linguists and/or Nahuatl enthusiasts to see the page and expand on the translation or at least provide a pronunciation guide.

- Do you mean {{expert-subject}}? — kikichugirl speak up! 01:54, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- I'll give that a shot, thanks!— Alammana (talk) 02:21, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- It turns out that there's a Nahuatl Wikipedia. If you could find someone friendly who contributes there and here, that would be a great lead. Unfortunately, I haven't thought of a way to do such a cross search. Asking at the help desk might find other ideas, or how to perform the search that stumping me.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:35, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- Aha. Check this out [1]. Damn, after writing that I started looking. Unfortunately, most of the users found through that search are saying things on their pages like "I don't speak the language but if you want to contact me see my English Wikipedia page at..."--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:46, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, seems like a good start, even non-native speakers will have a better start on it than I do! — Alammana (talk) 17:29, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pantepec River, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Hidalgo and Tuxpan River. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
