Regarding various standings for indoor-arena teams.

Why must you undo my work so often? Example, if I put down that a team is currently tied for 2nd place, you change it to sole possesion of 3rd place. Once I listed a team as tied for 6yh place, and you made it sole possesion of eighth place. It is very early in the season, so there are still ties for divisional positions, and I really wish you would leave these alone. Tom Danson 06:19, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

The divisions in the af2 no longer have "ern" at the end of them (i.e. western>>west, eastern>>east). I noticed that you had reverted my edits to Spokane Shock to add back the "ern" at the end. It's been fixed now (by someone else), but I just wanted to let you know. If you check the af2's standings page [1], you can see that divisions are now without the "ern". He's not even running the first team in training camp yet, Cleo Lemon is, and there's always a chance Green could get knocked out for the year due to injury. Pipe trick

Hey I noticed you just fixed a disambig problem with the NFL Comeback POY and Steve smith. Have you ever seen anyone use the pipe trick? Typing [[Steve Smith (Carolina Panthers)|]], will produce Steve Smith. Basically it removes any parenthetical expression in the article name. Just thought I'd let you know - it's a great time saver. Still trying to get their first win...

I just wanted to point out to you the repetitiveness at the beginnings of your weekly summaries at 2007 Miami Dolphins season. While I appreciate your contributions and it is true that they've been looking for their first win each week, You are starting each section with almost the exact same phrase, and this is a little too repetitive. If you would, try to go back and maybe mix things up a little so it stays fresh. Game Summaries for all 2007 NFL games

Hi there, Alakazam. I noticed that you are quite quick about adding a game summary for every game played each weekend. I think your summaries are baseically good, but you need to listen to the advice given to you by several editors on your talkpage here (since 2006!) and you need to understand what neutral means. You need to avoid using "tone" words. This is an encyclopedia, it is not your personal blog of events. It is absolutely possible to write a game summary without using nicknames (Vikes, 'Boys, 'Fins, etc are unnecessary and they are meaningless to most non-u.s. readers).

• Don't use Unfortunately and fortunately. Those are always opinions. Makes it look like a fan wrote it, not an encylopedic editor.
• Don't use Drew first blood. Nobody is bleeding.
• Don't use dominated, highlighted, or anything else that ESPN color commentators might say to describe a win or loss. Again, when a team wins 45-3, everyone in Wikipedia can decide for themselves if that is domination. What if the team that scores 45 points usually scores 90? Then, "they were held in check", not dominating. By saying dominated, you are adding your own opinion, the WP guideline for that is called Avoid Peacock terms.
