Tammam Salam's Page Edits

[edit]

Hello, thank you for your edits on the page of Mr. Tammam Salam, kindly note that you are introducing erroneous information on this page that was removed, we kindly ask you not to edit this page again with similar information. In the following edits: https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Tammam_Salam&diff=prev&oldid=626888075 https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Tammam_Salam&diff=prev&oldid=626888503 You have mentioned that Mr. Tammam Salam is now the president of Lebanon. According to the Lebanese law, this is erroneous information. The country has currently no president, and meanwhile, no one will act as the president of Lebanon as per the law. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MyaBell117 (talkcontribs) 21:24, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

He is NOT acting as president that is not even allowed according to the law, nobody acts as the president if there is no president. It would be highly appreciated if you read further about the law before using information that is shared on Wikipedia that is not well referenced if referenced at all! Thank you for not editing the page anymore. MyaBell117 (talk) 07:38, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Sinta Nuriyah. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sinta Nuriyah has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Europe page chart

[edit]
Warning
Warning

I suggest that you stop altering the existing chart of European states because what you are bringing is not only against the established consensus on regional classifications but is also factually incorrect. How can certain Baltic states be "Middle Europe" and Czech Republic Eastern Europe? You are getting basic geography wrong, not to mention that the classification middle Europe is not used by any of the sources ever used on this article. --Polgraf (talk) 10:56, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Governor lists

[edit]

You added "Four years, renewable once" to lots of governor lists. This may be accurate for some, but I've found at least four where it was incorrect. I would normally just change them but because there were so many I wanted to drop you a note that there were mistakes. --Golbez (talk) 18:35, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm upto ten mistakes so far. Please read the article before changing every governor to the same term limits. States have different limits... some have no limits, others have no term limits as long as there is a break from office every two terms, ... Bgwhite (talk) 07:37, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ordinal suffixes - Minister for Foreign Affairs (Japan)

[edit]

Hello Akuindo, thanx for your work and please look at this:

We do not use the superscript. The superscript of the most common text fonts and computer systems is not the same as the traditional typography for ordinal suffixes. The superscript breakes the text-line far and ugly to next upper text-line. And the source code is wasted by sup/sup.

And 21th is a senseless character string, it should be 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 31st ... --Diwas (talk) 16:52, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your January 2013 edits in "Federation"

[edit]

Hi Akuindo. In the article Federation, on 21 January 2013, without any consultation or explanation, you replaced the list of countries titled "Contemporary federations", which had been around for many years, by two lists titled "Federal republic" and "Federal monarchy".

Dividing federations between contemporary and defunct federations does make sense, but dividing them between "monarchies" and "republics" does not since whether a federation is a monarchy or a republic is irrelevant (that would be like dividing the United Nations or NATO member countries between "monarchies" and "republics"...). You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Department of Transportation and Communications (Philippines) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. -WayKurat (talk) 16:02, 30 June 2016 (UTC) Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.[reply]

Thank you. Since you had some involvement with the Dipangkorn Rasmijoti, Crown Prince of Thailand redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Rising Star Indonesia (season 2):

[edit]

Hi. Rising Star Indonesia (season 2) is a giant article but completely unreferenced, including a lot of claims about living persons. Where are you getting the information that you've been adding please? I'd be happy to help with the referencing. Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 17:13, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, re: this, there are only 8 references in the entire article, and apparently none of them seem to support any of the statistical information (the percentages, for instance) in the article. Since all content must be verifiable, if no published sources exist to corroborate all of that data, then the data is at risk of being removed. If published sources exist to support the data, then they should be added to the article. Thanks, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.1.245.204 (talkcontribs)

SIN and SGP

[edit]

Hello! Yes, I agree with you that now Singapore is using SGP. So it's not me who reverts it back to SIN in many pages about the current SEA Games. There is an unregistered user who keeps changing SGP to SIN.

And I'm sorry, I see that in some pages, you edited SGP back to SIN. Did you do it accidentally?

Thank you :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nyoman Juniarta (talkcontribs) 07:49, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Maaf, saya agak bingung. Jika anda setuju bahwa SGP itu kode sekarang, mengapa anda mengubah SGP menjadi SIN di beberapa halaman SEA Games 2017? Contohnya: [1]

Howdy. Why would you 'revert' my changes to the infobox? My way clarifies things for readers, until Peters assumes office. Having 13th & Designate together, is too confusing. When Peters becomes DPM again, the Designate can be removed. GoodDay (talk) 01:25, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Zimbabwe does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Changing dates in the electoral calendar

[edit]

You changed the date for the Bangladeshi election using a source that explicitly said there wasn't a set date yet on which the election was to be held (even though there were plenty of other sources that did say so). That creates confusion, and you have previously changed the date of the Bhutanese election without sourcing it. Even if such info about election dates is correct, it creates a lot of extra work for other editors if you don´t provide a source that unambiguously says a date has been set or changed.--Batmacumba (talk) 08:24, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It seems you simply reused an old source from the article, probably without checking what it said, that's lazy and worse than not sourcing it at all, so please refrain from doing that again.--Batmacumba (talk) 08:32, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your contributions. I can't help noticing that Template:Peruvian Congress (2011–2016) (and probably the whole family of templates—I haven't looked) is very very saturated in colour. There are two problems: it looks awful (sorry), and some of the text is very hard to read—e.g. red text on red background. Is there another way of highlighint the parties/alliances? Or if background colour is the only viable way, could they be less saturated? I'm putting this not at the template talkpage too. Tony (talk) 11:56, 15 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
