I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

How can I possibly upload a image if Wikipedia states that the picture my be free license??? What does it mean??? Thanks in advance!!! :)

Hi Akkamaru,
It means that:
  1. If you are the author of the work, you can do what you want with it as you own all the rights over the image. Then you have to choose among the proposed licenses.
  2. If you are not the author of the work (say, it is a picture of a building, a logo, etc.), then you must request a copyright permission to the author of the work.
If you don't know what to do, ask Wikipedia:Media copyright questions with more details: they will give you an answer corresponding to your situation.
Hope it helps. Calimo (talk) 10:07, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
