Hello, FarhanSarwar, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Bilqees Sarwar Foundation (BSF), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Bilqees Sarwar Foundation (BSF) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Hello FarhanSarwar, I have removed your entry from this list again. According to the main article Bilqees Sarwar Foundation has no clear connection to a specific minority or diaspora (atleast nothing is mentioned in the article). Unless there is such a connection, the organisation doesn't fit within this list's inclusion criteria and shouldn't be added. Please also note, that any kind of promotional activity is prohibited on Wikipedia (see WP:PROMO). As an editor with a conflict of interest you shouldn't edit such articles yourself, but suggest changes on the article's talkpage. Speaking of, I have answered your request at Talk:Bilqees Sarwar Foundation. Please feel free to double-check and post additional suggestions on the talkpage, if needed. Best regards. File permission problem with File:Farhan Sarwar.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Farhan Sarwar.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Train2104 (t • c) 15:08, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Farhan Sarwar.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for the guidance. I do not have any written email as you know the CEO is busy in other important official matters. You can see the images in the URLs mention below.

http://www.hsnds.com/about-us/ceo/ http://www.bsfoundation.com/founder-story/ http://bilqeessarwarhospital.org/about-bsh/president/ http://www.nrs-international.com/about-us/leadership/

You can see these links clearly shows that he is the owner of the companies and the pictures are the same person. Are these shreds of evidence not enough for publication of this document? Any kind of further help will be appreciated.

Looking forward to your response. Thank!

Thankyou Train2104,

How can i change the license category to article category?

A tag has been placed on FarhanSarwar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at FarhanSarwar. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 07:07, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:FarhanSarwar/sandbox/farhansarwar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. creation of new article

[edit]

Hi team, I want to make new article page of Farhan Sarwar. Can you guys help me out where to start? Help would be appreciated. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by FarhanSarwar (talkcontribs) 09:23, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Was there something complicated about the advice above - "Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies" ?
  2. You've contributed nothing to wikipedia except your efforts at self promotion - why would anybody want to help you with that? You're obviously not here for the good of the wiki. Cabayi (talk) 09:57, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You might be right but i was just trying to make Farhan Sarwar's page. I am asking this question to rewrite the article of Farhan Sarwar which has been deleted due to self-promotion. If you would suggest me or provide the suitable link which helps me to rewrite the article according to wikipedia instructions. I never tried to publish a promotional content even though it looked like, but my intention was to upload informational content about Mr.Farhan Sarwar. Hope you will understand now.

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because the username, FarhanSarwar, matches the name of a well-known, living person.

If you are the person represented by this username, please note that the practice of blocking such usernames is to protect you from being impersonated, not to discourage you from editing Wikipedia. You may choose to edit under a new username (see information below), but keep in mind that you are welcome to continue to edit under this username. If you choose to do so, we ask the following:

  1. Please be willing and able to prove your identity to Wikipedia.
  2. Please send an email to info-en@wikimedia.org. Be aware that the volunteer response team that handles email is indeed operated entirely by volunteers, and the reply may not be immediate.

If you are not the person represented by this username, you are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} on your user talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 16:18, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I want to change my username FarhanSarwar to HamzaButt. Let me know if any other things are required.

I am unblocking you so that you can change the username. But, be aware that Wikipedia only allows an account to be owned and operated by a single individual. WP:SHAREDACCOUNT is not allowed. In the mail you have sent to the UTRS, so keep referring to yourself as "we". If we find out that the account is operated by more that one person, it will be re-blocked. Vanjagenije (talk) 13:12, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Vanjagenije, thanks for the reply. Yes, you are right i was using "we" word instead of "i" as i was unaware of this policy. Thank you for the support. Can you please help me out how to change my username? I checked the available username from Wikipedia:Changing username but have not found the section of changing my username. I want to change my username FarhanSarwar to Ak47hamza.

Please. go to Special:GlobalRenameRequest and follow instructions. Vanjagenije (talk) 08:57, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hayman30 (talk) 12:12, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, Ak47hamza. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Farhan Sarwar".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 02:00, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ak47hamza, thank you for looking for additional sources. However, please do suggest article changes per edit request on the article's talkpage. Secondly, links to your own donation drives and other promotional publications are absolutely not acceptable. Thank you for your consideration. GermanJoe (talk) 11:02, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the guidance. Yeah noted, I will definitely share new addition here before going to publish it. Secondly, this is not the promotion link this is the work which we are doing for the betterment of society and if you think this link looks like a promotional activity than you remove it as well according to Wikipedia policies.
