About plot summaries

[edit]

Hi, thank you for your contribution on the Unexpectedly Yours article. I reverted the plot summary you added because it was copied directly from the source provided, which constituted copyright violation. Plot descriptions are self-contained and written in real-world context per WP:FILMPLOT and MOS:REALWORLD, respectively. Furthermore, they cannot be copied from other sources, including official sources, unless these can be verified to be public domain or licensed compatibly with Wikipedia. They must be written in original language to comply with Wikipedia's copyright policy. In addition, they should only briefly summarize the plot; detailed plot descriptions may constitute a derivative work. See Wikipedia's Copyright FAQ. Slightlymad 06:02, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
