Speedy deletion nomination of Clear Enterprise
[edit]A tag has been placed on Clear Enterprise, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ArcAngel (talk) 03:56, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
- The article was pure advertising. It consisted of the following promotional language: "Clear Enterprise is a fully integrated, scalable, business software solution that integrates a business' core processes with its supply chain, resulting in a solution that goes beyond traditional accounting systems.", followed by a whole bunch of links to the company website. Again, see WP:SPAM. NawlinWiki (talk) 04:12, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Clear Objective
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
A tag has been placed on Clear Objective requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 23:58, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
User:NawlinWiki
[edit]I have deleted your post to NawlinWiki's talk page. Yes, I understand you are frustrated and upset. But yelling about it in such a manner will only increase tension and hostility between the two of you.
In the interests of improving Wikipedia as a whole, this user would like to offer a truce and put aside all past differences. |
Calm down, take a short break and repost the message in a more civil manner. That way, regardless of what happens to the article and whether or not it deserved to be deleted, you are not viewed as a vandal or a troll. You are within your rights to complain if you feel you have to, but going about it as you did is not the way. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:01, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:52, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

You deserve this. When I first encountered you, you had lost your temper out of frustration. Now, with some help, you've managed to cool down and improve the articles in question to avoid speedy deletions. Not many new editors I've seen could do that, so you deserve this. Keep up the good work. ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 00:59, 2 December 2009 (UTC) |
Removing Notability tags without comment
[edit]Hi there. I was about to revert your removal of the notability tag on Clear Objective. However, after looking at the article I see that you added references to address this issue. In the future please add a quick comment to your edit so that those of us monitoring recent changes know the reasoning behind removing a tag. Thanks! LeilaniLad (talk) 23:24, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hi LeilaniLad, how do I add a comment to address that sort of change? Also, please note, I removed similar tags on Clear Enterprise --Aj robo (talk) 23:25, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- Just use the edit summary to say what you're doing. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 23:29, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Clear enterprise overview.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Clear enterprise overview.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Angus McLellan (Talk) 23:40, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Clear objective logo.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Clear objective logo.gif. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:28, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
The article Clear Objective has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No assertion of notability per WP:CORP, and no significant coverage online from WP:Reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Captain Conundrum (talk) 20:16, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Clear enterprise overview.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Clear enterprise overview.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:08, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
