I just read, with interest, your comments at the talk page about the Contras. I don't follow the article (or the subject itself) closely. I have a tangential curiosity about that subject because of my acquaintance with an American who I understand carried out some activities in furtherance of U.S. policy objectives against the Sandanistas -- possibly during the time you were there (I don't know the specific time frame in which the individual was in that region).
