A tag has been placed on Fairfax internal medicine associates, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Proposed deletion of James G. Zumwalt

[edit]

The article James G. Zumwalt has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:08, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Fairfax internal medicine associates, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.fairfaxinternalmedicine.com/about.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Fairfax internal medicine associates

[edit]

Hello Ahshoja,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Fairfax internal medicine associates for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 22:24, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Sideways713. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Ghazal Omid, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sideways713 (talk) 10:53, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Ghazal Omid. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 04:17, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page. Note that you may add negative content in the articles of living people, provided that it's reliably sourced and not given undue weight, but that unsourced claims and original research will never be acceptable. If you wish to dispute the validity of a claim already made in an article, raise the matter on the article's talk page and/or tag the claim appropriately. A tag has been placed on Iranian missile boat Paykan (1977 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://overlord-wot.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-battle-of-missiles.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 months for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission. Request reason:

I had not committed a copywriter infringement in the past: specifically, the warning about "Fairfax Internal Medicine Associates" page did not speak about "copywright" at all. Let alone that I was working for that entity at the time. I did not pursue the matter then, as the outcome would have had minimal effect on our day to day operations. With this posting, ALL the posts, were referenced. A statement about posting without permission, when reference is mentioned, is not conform the scientific writing rules. I need to be unblocked in a timely manner, otherwise this page will be deleted and all my effort to add an important contributor to apoptosis research to Wikipedia, will be lost, as I will not be allowed to repost the deleted article. Ahshoja (talk) 18:55, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

It's hard to understand what you are saying. You were indeed warned about copyright issues with regard to Fairfax Internal Medicine Associates, back in 2014. Now you seem to be claiming you worked for them, or on behalf of them. On that basis, I'm extending your block to an indefinite one, for violations of WP:COPYRIGHT, WP:PROMO, WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:SPAM. Yamla (talk) 19:02, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Indefinite suspension

[edit]

Hi,

I was suspended because “I was being paid to create a page for the medical practice where I was a partner in”. Does this mean that whomever is working in a medical practice, is not allowed to inform their patients of their expertise and which services are available for them?

Thanks 173.79.209.173 (talk) 15:28, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
