Information icon Hello, I'm NebY. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Importance of religion by country, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. More importantly, the subject of the article is the overall importance of religion in a country, not which religion - often only one among several - is most common in a country, and thus is off topic and misleads the reader into drawing undue conclusions, for which see WP:SYNTH. NebY (talk) 11:44, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to write back to you. I used "wikipedia" and the CIA Factbook where Wikipedia didn't have enough info. You can add that. I'm not that advanced at editing. Can you please upload the data again?

As stated above, this material's not appropriate for this article. Moreover, it's everyone's responsibility when adding material to Wikipedia to make it clear exactly which reliable source they're using and of course, we know Wikipedia doesn't count as a stable, reliable source!
Usually, new editors are greeted with a welcome message with fundamental principles, tips and links to further information, ranging from how to use Talk pages through to the crucial importance of verifiability. I'll put a welcome message here now. NebY (talk) 12:38, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I didn't notice part of the standard message about sourcing didn't apply in this case. I've struck it out now. NebY (talk) 19:55, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
