I cannot find your article Reproductive rights in Latin America. Swaugaman (talk) 18:46, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

==Comments== Reproductive Rights in Latin America Lsmqueen (talk) 02:38, 22 April 2014 (UTC) In your background section I would suggest making the impact on Latin American reproductive rights at the forefront more, i.e. tie directly back to an articulated impact on Latin American rights specifically and directly. Maybe map out the timeline and each part of that section and articulate the impacts on rights, and then provide a snapshot of rights today? In the defining rights and existing strategies section you don't really define what reproductive rights are, I would suggest adding a brief overview of what "reproductive rights" encompass and the factors that contribute to those capabilities. In the Maternal health and mortality section you mention the Millenium Development Goal but don't say what that goal is, I would definitely add that to give perspective. Also, you don't mention much about maternal health, beyond mortality rates, I suggest maybe mention issues pertaining to prenatal care, maternal nutrition, impacts of maternal health on the family. In the Family Planning section, in the abortion section, you mention 6 out of 34 countries have legal abortion without restriction but only three are listed in the preceding table. You also say the rate of death due to illegal abortions is among the highest in the world but don't mention what that rate is- I would articulate that to provide perspective. Overall good article, I would just suggest defining what reproductive rights encompass and consider the above suggestions. Lsmqueen (talk) 21:06, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I concur with the above recommendations

Lsmqueen has great points on missing information that the article has to address.BerikG (talk) 05:13, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
