A welcome from Sango123

[edit]

Hello, Agapetile, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

Spam

[edit]

Wikipedia is not for your free advertizing. Please stop spamming. Your spam edits have been and will be removed. Vsmith 22:56, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to be ignoring my warning. In light of your obvious connection to Agape tile, any edits of yours in relation to the products of that company are blatant commercialism. If you persist in this spamming of wikipedia articles you will be blocked. Before it comes to that I would hope you will stop and discuss this. Thank you, Vsmith 00:56, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Adding images

[edit]

You seem to be having some difficulty. Ususally, images are added like this (on a separate line):

<!-- Commented out because image was deleted: [[Image:Sugolite Gemstone Tile.jpg|thumb|title]] -->

For more information, see Wikipedia:How to edit a page#Images. The 'thumb' designation puts the image on the right side of the page, with a set width, and puts a border around the image. Hope that helps. Noisy | Talk 09:23, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

And the Picture tutorial is also very enlightening. You may also consider tagging your images; if they're in public domain, type {{PD}} into the image description page. Regards, Sango123 11:35, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

Just created Sugilite/Temp page and added your image there. The temp. page was created pending copyvio resolution of the Sugilite page, it will most likely become the sugilite page once the problem has been resolved. (It - the copyvio - has no relation to your work, you just called my attention to the copright problem). Vsmith 16:36, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Sugolite Gemstone Tile.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Sugolite Gemstone Tile.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
