Need Somewhere to read the English version

[edit]

Hi. This is in response to your query at the Tagore talk page. English translations are at Project Gutenberg and Wikisource. See Rabindranath Tagore#External links (under "Texts" section) for more places. I fixed that section of the article to reflect this. Take care. Regards. Saravask 07:10, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Star

[edit]

How dare you give out stars after joining WP so recently? What gall!

Seriously, thank you ... for your good taste in world authors!

About clogging the history: yes, I did bungle it up there because "some kindly miscreants" added a bunch of shiny new junk to the editing interface. I've been slacking off for several years and thus had chronic issues with it, having never gotten used to it: when I copied text, it would copy the formatting also, and cursor navigation impinged somewhat on the principle of least astonishment, to put it mildly—to the extent that my screen risked traumatic dismemberment and replacement at my hands. Upon saving, it gave me more fun by also inserting random extra carriage returns, sometimes multiple. So to keep sane, I had to break edits down into manageable and quickly fixable steps. I only figured out how to turn the innovative usability stuff off a few days ago. I apologize.

Do me a favor and stick around a few years, and wait around for a kind newbie to show you cheek with an undeserved (well, maybe not in your case) award. It'll be good!

Warmest regards. Saravask 15:15, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Meh. Life is short. Wiki-life is shorter ...

And yes, I have enough @#$%^&* *code* to wrangle in RL ... X_X.

As for your oh-so-original pinko "spreading the peace" shtick, here's the, <ahem> ... non-dumb non-noob way:
