Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Leicester City F.C., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fitz Hall, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Waltham Abbey. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

April 2016

[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Ben Watson (footballer, born July 1985). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:54, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

My official reply to any admin who is coming here to impose a block on this editor, is that Mattythewhite is more guilty of biting newcomers than Aefevans is of adding unsourced content. The content is likely sourced, but the editor is not adding a time stamp, or the source on the page is poor. I would argue that Aefevans' only fault is not knowing how to provide sources for the association football appearances, not that he is wilfully adding it in a way that is unsourced. The WP:FOOTY project is not very good at welcoming newcomers. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:44, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Shakin' Stevens, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marlow (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hello there, from Portugal,

first of all, TWITTER is not a very encyclopedical source for content. But it could stay, if better phrased/sourced, for example replacing "Arsenal defender" with "compatriot" to avoid WP:RECENTISM (buf i still think it's still not take important to mention). I'll take care of it.

Sorry for any inconvenience, happy editing --Quite A Character (talk) 17:47, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Thomas and the Magic Railroad, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 20:09, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
