Fair use rationale for Image:Jp hayes.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Jp hayes.jpeg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:06, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Eh, I thought that would work. I will just let it be deleted if it doesn't work... Aeæ 18:08, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Aeæ. I'm GeorgeMoney. I was looking though ILP's contribs to see if he redirected the page user:ILP to his page and saw your "unique" name. Remember that wikipedia does not allow un-free content. (And also, don't take it personally if that bot annoys you. He does that to everyone :) ) --GeorgeMoney T·C 02:06, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, what I did sufficed back when I read the fair use polices, though that was several monthes ago. Speaking of which, do you know if I can redirect User:Aeae do here, since the name exists? //Ae:æ 16:43, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I went ahead and finished the fair use. Also, thank you for the redirect... I was about to do it myself. //Ae:æ 17:09, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Restaurant logos vs Fairshare and "Lawever"
[edit]Look, Zaxby's logo is not a bigger than someone posted Krystal logo taht violated what you believe so you can take a look at http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Image:Krystal_logo.jpg and you see I am not only one. Admins did too. It is no a big deal unless Zaxby's resturant owner wants to create his own article for Wikipedia.User:Cculber007 17:18, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- Fair use should only be as needed to illustrate. I am not going to go through and shrink them all, but even the tags them self say that "It is believed that the use of low-resolution images...qualify under fair use...". All I am saying, is that we need to stay within legality. I suggest you read through the various image use policies here sometime. :) //Ae:æ 21:49, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Wikipedia policies do not make senses at all than US laws
[edit]Well, i read some of policies that do make senses but not all can make senses. In fact, most articles are filled with illegal materials taht Wuikipedia admins do not notice very often as their pets "Bots". I am not wasting my time for re-reading Wikipedia policies but I believed that I did not break anything. I did not put Krystal logo on this as none of Wikipedians have warned him about a size of Krystal logo. Yes you have to do resize all of resturant logos because you are fussy over them based on image use policies. I do not need any special treats. I may be deaf but I do bite hearing people with my own teeth like a pit bull. Do you understand that U.S. never make any common senses on all policies and laws??? How many did you heard the stories about "not making any senses."??? I am not a supporter of Wikipedia, I am supporter of real educational system that people tried to make a blind way out of. User:Cculber007 18:18, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- Please realise that you could have worded all of the above in a more civil way. Wikipedia has a policy against incivility which you can see at the above link. Thank you. — Nathan (talk) / 02:10, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
- All I am trying to do is make Wikipedia stay within legality. Without some concern over such matters; this encyclopædia will cease to exist. //Ae:æ 02:15, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Why did you nominate my picture for deletion?
[edit]Just out of curiosity, why did you nominate my picture for deletion? I mean, how did you come across it? I'm not contesting the deletion, because I'm leaving Wikipedia and was going to request that it be deleted anyway. So, I'm happy it will be deleted. I'm just wondering why it occurred to you to delete it. -- Andrew Parodi 22:22, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- I came across your userpage somehow. I then wondered how you licensed you photo. I then saw that it was not compliant with our licensing policy, so I nominated it. I am, however, displeased to see another contributer go. Good wishes anyhow! //Ae:æ 00:26, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
RFA thanks
[edit]- I have already responded on IRC, but nonetheless, congratulations! (That also goes for making it to WP:100. :) //Ae:æ 03:15, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Confused
[edit]I am a bit confused by this edit. Did he asked for that? For it looked a bit rude to me. //Ae:æ 23:30, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- It had something to do with an IfD. I will revert it. GeorgeMoney (talk) 23:32, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Okay. It just didn't seem to show Wikilove. //Ae:æ 23:34, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

- Have fun! (while I'm stuck on dialup...)//Ae:æ 10:47, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hello, I finally got a chance to come on, and I am stuck on dialup too, but not only do I have to use dialup, this dialup has a limited number of minutes, so I will barely be on. Do you think maybe you could breif me on anything important that happened? GeorgeMoney (talk) 07:45, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Mine is limited as well... Any idea how to get a verizon dsl modem to work with Bellsouth? (:P) To respond, not really sure. I cannot come here much anymore. //Ae:æ 11:12, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- DSL is back! //Ae:æ 21:31, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
