Hello, Advocatus, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!
Wikipedia is not the place to discuss plans with your friend(s). Wikipedia user talk and article talk pages are meant to be used for messages relating to the content of our encyclopedia. For instance, you should not post messages asking whether your real life friend is going to the YMCA. The proper place to ask such questions is on e-mail, the phone, or an instant messanger service. On Wikipedia, personal messages are not tolerated. All of your interaction with other users on this website should be related to the encyclopedia's content, not your afternoon plans. Have a great day!
The users btg2290 and advocatus are controlled by the same person but they are not being used for melicious or any form of vandalism. They are both being used for legitimate reasons. If you encounter any problems please contact scottish_newfie2290@hotmail.com and the user would be more then happy to assist you in any complaints and/or issues you may have. Thank-you and have a great day! Advocatus03:02, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I'm Ral315, editor-in-chief of the Wikipedia Signpost. It appears that you have not edited in at least three weeks. To avoid spamming your talk page any further, should you be on leave, your name has been removed from the Signpost spamlist. If you wish to continue receiving the spamlist, please leave a note on my talk page to that effect, and I will restore your name, and keep you on the list indefinitely. Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as a personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as a way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.
