Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Jeremy Shada.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Jeremy Shada.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aaron Booth (talk) 02:11, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

Images
[edit]Hi there, I deleted File:Jeremy Shada.jpg because we cannot accept fair use images of living people. There is the possibility that a free image could be made available of the person so we cannot accept the image under fair use. Take a look here for a more detailed explanation. Thanks, James086Talk 17:17, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
In popular culture items need third-party references
[edit]Hi. We don't reference "In popular culture" items to primary sources. This results in a long list of only loosely-related non-notable items. In order to establish both the relevance and notablity of an IPC item, we need a third-party references that mentions it in the context of the article subject. Otherwise it's original research on the part of a Wikipedia editor, which isn't permitted. See WP:IPC for details. Thanks. Yworo (talk) 19:39, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Despite your assertion at Hall of Game Awards,[1] nickandmore.com does NOT meet the requirements of a reliable source as was discussed at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard.(see here and here) Nickandmore is not used as a source in any articles because of this.[2] It is used as a general link on talk pages and as a source for images, but cannot be used in citations. --AussieLegend (✉) 11:50, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
