From article talk p.:

Greetings. This article appears to be wikispam, i.e., an advertisement masquerading as an article. Articles considered advertisements include those that are solicitations for a business, product or service, or are public relations pieces designed to promote a company or individual. Please provide sources to establish the subject's notability. Of course, the need for sources goes beyond notability. Information added to an article must be verifiable, and facts included must be attributed to a reliable source. Please also see Wikipedia's guideline concerning conflicts of interest. Thanks. --Evb-wiki (talk) 12:18, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have created this page on behalf of Dr. Patrick Treacy who is a well known and travelled plastic surgeon. He has very much tried to embrace the online medium to facilitate the discussion of topics related to cosmetic surgery etc. He would like people to be able to reference who is and to edit the page with any topics they feel appropriate. This page is not intended to be an advertisement so I'd happily rewrite it if required.

Thanks, Adrian

However, as reviewing administrator, even more to the point, most of it is a copyright violation of his webpage, http://www.ailesburyclinic.ie/aboutus.shtml. Now,. he may be willing for us to publish this, but it would be under a GFDL license, which permits reuse and modification of the material by anyone for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, and is not revokable. Since the material is promotional not descriptive anyway, and would need rewriting to be acceptable, there's not much point in it. for an explanation and further advice, see our Business FAQ. I must delete it immediately as copyright violation, but it is permitted to re-submit it a rewritten version. See WP:FIRST for outstyle, & look at some similar articles. Note that you need 3rd party independent reliable published sources, print or online (but not blogs or press releases). DGG (talk) 12:46, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
