Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Battlefield 1942, please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Battlefield 1942 Ranking requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bagheera (talk) 23:11, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please do not delete the Speedy Deletion tag yourself. If you wish to contest, please place a Hangon tag (as noted above) and then state your case in the article's Discussion page. Cheers. Bagheera (talk) 23:34, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If the rankings are so important to the game, then surely you can find some reliable sources discussing them. Please familiarize yourself with how to cite material properly if you want to add a section about them. DP76764 (Talk) 01:36, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I have blocked this account indefinitely. You were warned multiple times about the nature of your edits, on this page and elsewhere. Instead of addressing the problem, you resorted to sockpuppetry to avoid culpability and continued to revert other contributors. This behaviour is not tolerated, and, after the dispense of adequate warning, a block is the only option. Regards, —Anonymous DissidentTalk 10:48, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
