I recently overhauled the Wario's Woods page.

Random Msgs From Eventine

[edit]

Crap, they're trying to delete the DotA Allstars article. I need to read over the Wikipedia rules for deleting/verifiability so i can figure out how to argue against it. eventine 13:57, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When are you going to be going back to school? We're working on stuff to bring to school, any insight? eventine 00:51, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

yo i don't know if you have my page watched tian, but i won't be coming back until the 25th. I'm gonna bring my wifi router. Bohnish has my hub right now but you'd have to request additional ips from RR if you want to use it to get internet. Its not hard, I did it at the apartment. Bohnish also has my long ethernet wires. I can also bring an A\C unit if we think we need it.--Addps4cat 11:47, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've decided the majority of people on wikipedia who are editing are too stupid to live. They should also stop putting up biographies of themselves. eventine 03:13, 8 August 2006 (UTC) P.S. enjoy your vacation, and ceramic cat![reply]

Wow, I pulled a moron move. Made an article of Iron Will using the template from Cool Runnings, too bad I forgot to change the first word from Cool Runnings to Iron Will. eventine 13:53, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Attempts to have this egregious bit of puffery deleted have been stymied at every point latterly by an Admin. Would you please support the request for the AdD reinstatement at her page; http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Fang_Aili#Ernest_Emerson_Deletion Thanks Albatross2147 04:04, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bs wario no mori title screen.PNG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Bs wario no mori title screen.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:22, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article User:Addps4cat/Trip, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on [[Talk:User:Addps4cat/Trip|its talk page]]. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of User:Addps4cat/Trip. --Geniac (talk) 01:03, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:26, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:TW-forum-layout.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:TW-forum-layout.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
